I think you can see that Perry might have first game jitters but he is an accurate qb. I wish Richt would have called some deep routes to see his arm (he might have, TV cut out for awhile)

The one thing you can't say is that the Miami admin pinched pennies and ended up with Richt. He is getting PAID. Richt hired the staff. Richt at least had something resembling success (SEC East), the retread coaches he hired at OL and DC were total failures at other stops as well.

Just an observation: when Miami went down 10-3 in the LSU game, the defense gave up. This Savannah St. team is down 28-0 and they are still scrapping. Good for them. Shameful for us.

Re: the LSU game- when the defender is nowhere near the ball carrier, it's not technically considered "missing a tackle."

I'm going with don't do it all. Diaz would have shown some balls if he said that the TO chain wasn't coming out against Savannah St. or any team until his defense earns it and proves itself on a big stage.

Not a single player on Savannah State would make the top 3 on the Miami depth chart. No disrespect to them. Rosier literally missed that exact pass to Thomas 6 times in the Pitt game, with about the same amount of coverage.

That is 100% exactly what he's doing. Not kidding. He knows if he pulls Malik, it looks like he is giving into fan pressure. He doesn't want to start that narrative, so he is going to keep Malik in as long as he can.
