You’re creating a ridiculous debate. The post I responded to suggested top loal kids hsve been avoiding UM for years. The reality is that is false. The trend is worsening, however. Obviously. But Golden and Richt pulled in local 5* kids at DB/WR. We’ll see re Diaz.
There will always be local kids who go elsewhere, and no one is claiming things have been great under recent staffs. However, the comment suggested top local kids were all gling elsewhere for a long while. That is false.
When manny gets local 5* kids at WR and CB, hit me up.
When this school offers a choice for kids that makes sense for them, be jaded. Until then, it’s just a mirror reflecting on the program. Clown coach, clown staff, unserious culture, bad development, lack of institutional support.
If manny fored rumph then backed off it, just fore him and james and all the staph. Whot a hot mess. I’d rather see Rumph as head coach than manny, and i am reasonably certain he’d be better.
If this story is anywhere nar true, it‘s cause to remove both manny and james. Manny fires rumph, then james told him no unless he fires others? LMAO.
WHAT. A. CLOWN. SHOW.
We haven’t had top level backer play for ages. Sorry to say that because Shaq and Pinckney are good guys who played solidly for years for us, but Manny’s approach would work a lot better with pro LBs who have lateral range and shed blockers well. Put the Bermuda Triangle on this team and you’d...
But so what? Why does that need to be said? What’s the point? Everyone knows it. What does that hafe to do with claiming our talent is good? It’s been in decline For ages. Some of you folk are lime a g]frog in a pot of boiling water at this point.
I have been saying this for 17 years now. Evals matter. It’s all about evals. They are what bend your talent trajectory up or down.
The problem around here is folks get lost in rabbit holes.
Dmoney likes to talk about talent (stars, draft picks and/or nfl salary, as he describes it) to make...
People keep saying this. Better coaching will help us win in college. It will put our players in a position to shine and people will call that ‘development.’ Better skill training (‘development’) may matter but truthfully, we’ve sent guys to the nfl through years of mediocre coaching. What...
1. Manny was ok as a dc. He was not hc in ‘16, and is not ok at being a hc.
2. Miami fans consistently overrate our effective roster talent. Having three future nfl rbs is not that meaningful an indicator if you have a terrible OL, bad QB, and mediocre wrs.
3. I cannot think of an OC so...
I thought Vish made a good observation in his article linked on this board, that manny’s ‘my guys’ attitude towards defensive vs offensive coaches was part of what caused the cultural rift. Manny if he wants to be a real head coach and not just another failure, needs to hold ‘his guys’...
Yep. 10000-% narcissism from Manny. One day in, ‘look at me, I’m a real coach.’ Implicit obvious shot at Richt, who a[parently wasn’t. Except he hired you, ****. The only solution set that fits here is Manny is right about Richt, and hence wrong about himself. Richt was wrong about Manny...
