Bill Clark has been discussed on here and is a name to watch for for interviews. I was just naming names that haven't been brought up here yet.

You have the right to question.....I am just passing along info. I didn't say he was going to be the coach. I'm just outlying the type we will be looking for and his name is the only one that stood out to me that hasn't been discussed yet.

Fair enough, I do not know him personally. I just know he has been highly regarded by many people in coaching and for that reason he has almost seemingly had his career forced into a positive position. Can't say that for many other minority coaches.

There's a reason he's still employed and Aubrey Hill isn't. The guy can coach.

Hugh Freeze has been mentioned by posters on here as a want.....but people are bullish on Hurtt who was our last legit DLine coach worth a ****. Weird flex, but ok.

It's also important that there are some NFL ties or experience as well. That's why I think Lane will overall win the job.

I will say this is what I was told in regards as to why some of the names that were brought up were. The next coach will HAVE to have experience coaching at multiple programs with moderate to good success in order to be considered. There will be no 1st time hires (so no Joe Brady) Tom Herman...
