    Bags aren't the problem

Our coach retired in the middle of the cycle. FSU’s class was terrible for a honeymoon class. Coaches usually kill it their first full year.

Let’s get back-to-back 10 win seasons. That would be a milestone for me.

    Bags aren't the problem

They beat Alabama last year. They have played in the championship twice. They won a title with an iconic star. That’s winning. We just had our first ten-win season in fifteen years.

    Bags aren't the problem

Auburn has played in two national championships since these kids were old enough to remember. They’ve beaten Alabama. We’ve been nowhere close to that. They have earned a better reputation with recruits.

    Bags aren't the problem

Manny is not a guy who believes we can just line up and beat people with talent. That alone is an improvement.

    Bags aren't the problem

I think they believe in Manny. For months, people inside have been telling me that Manny should be the coach. I’m talking about a diverse group of coaches, staff and players. They believe he is smart and creative enough to get it done. Let’s see what happens.

    Bags aren't the problem

I’m just looking at the track record. We’ve had three straight years of good DL play after a decade of bad DL play.

    Bags aren't the problem

USC has less competition because of their location. We have to deal with two in-state powers, the SEC and Ohio State. They also won the PAC-12 last year. We’ve never won the ACC.

I’ve seen the texts. Georgia is paying.

    Bags aren't the problem

I think the problem this year was just bad offensive coaching. The culture isn’t as bad as the past three coaches. The offensive freshmen were ****ed they didn’t play but that’s normal given their rankings and our results. The real cancer on the team, from what I understand, was Jeff Thomas...

    Bags aren't the problem

If they underachieve next year and go 7-6 with an elite QB, let's see how their class turns out. Oregon has been elite in recent memory.

    Bags aren't the problem

UGA just paid $100K for a linebacker. Per two SEC coaches from different schools.

    Bags aren't the problem

We were worried about DL last summer and it ended up as one of the top units in the country. I just think we need to stay healthy. Kool really hurt our depth. Defensive tackle will be OK if we add a good grad transfer. Silvera was the #2 DT in the country and showed plenty of flashes when he...

    Bags aren't the problem

I agree that we should focus on city kids when we go out of state. I would add Detroit and Chicago to that mix.

    Bags aren't the problem

And that was coming off a 9-win season that finished with a bang. The momentum carried into 2017 and those kids stuck by their commitments. Compare that to Golden classes that fell apart when we start losing.

    Bags aren't the problem

I'm confident because we've had three straight good years on defense, and they've gotten better every year. We've worked around depth issues in the secondary without a problem. The LBs coming back is huge.

    Bags aren't the problem

Our coaches get paid a lot. They get paid more than any team we lost to aside from LSU.

    Bags aren't the problem

Bags are real. I've spoken to people on both sides of the transaction. Tyrique Stevenson and others are getting paid. The SEC is cheating and barely hiding it. But that's not Miami's problem. For the past decade, we've recruited at a Top 15 level. We've produced NFL players at a Top 5 level...
