He plays that role but he is a smooth athlete. He ran a laser 4.6 with a 4.22 shuttle as a HS sophomore. Haven’t seen him play extensively in space but he seems to have the movement skills. Ryan Shazier is a guy who was mainly a pass rusher in high school but easily transitioned.

I haven’t heard too much buzz on him from the UF side. They have two backers committed. He was loyal to his small HS team, so hopefully he stays loyal to the Canes.

I don’t really like the local CBs this year. Small and not athletic enough to make up for it. Sanguinetti can play both DB positions. I think he’s a CB. He is the one guy with length and athleticism. The other guys they are targeting are outside of South Florida like Blades, Porter and Dixon...

I like the balance of this LB class. Two athletic, rangy OLBs in Huff and Brooks that will have NFL traits with some strength and conditioning. A big, explosive middle linebacker in Pierre. And (likely) two smart, fast backers in Solomon and Brown who can play in space. Huff is an elite pickup.
