The DL is stout and along with the LBs will be tough to handle. I really like our DEs. I think our DTs are good but not great. JHH did start making some noise at the end. But not enough. And while I agree Rutgers isn't a useful game to judge the line, I don't get why we didn't see anything...

I personally feel we've upgraded across the board. Overall quality, quality at each position, quality depth. Also better coaches overall. better culture. We have holes, we’re not there yet. But getting better and the Top 5 class is one solid leg of the stool.

Who cares where we end up at this point. F the ratings. Mario got his guys so it’s up to his staff to win with them. I love this DL class and I’m sure many of the players will be great. But hard to compare vs OL 2023 because Francis was so critical to the team and Pancake was starting to rotate...

McConathy seems to have a lower ceiling but the the highest floor, IMO. So I agree he’ll see the field early.

IMO, Kelly's lack of development is all about his youth and injuries. I know you can't keep talent off the field. But Kelly was too young and his body wasn't ready for Big Boy football. I really wish they had redshirted him in year 1 and brought him along a more slowly... Remember this with...

We got steamrolled vs Buttgers. Deen mediocre ACC. Gore and Lichtenstein P5 level. Moten was a big disappointment, Was Horton out? Next year 2 deep looks really good on paper but a couple injuries and we’re playing true freshmen.

A little thin before we get to true freshmen. Gotta hope everyone injured recovers and stays healthy.

Kelly had the exact same issues in his true freshman year preinjury. Held up better this season when healthy, but lost at least some of his explosiveness. I would chalk that up to youth and inexperience for both of them. Kelly is really young and has been banged up two years in a row, so he's...

At least. We were spoiled by what Francis and Reuben were able to produce this season. Outside of WR and an occasional RB or DB the vast majority of 4-5 stars take 1-2 seasons to be impactful. The "3rd year Step" still applies. I agree that what we need most from these kids are to be able to...

Can carry 230 if done super carefully by September. Mustache Man needs to earn his paycheck. 2 pounds a month, increasing force while working on maintaining burst and agility at all times. Is he early enrollment? If not he’s not playing in 2024.

Love him or hate him (I have very ambivalent feelings about him at the moment), Mario recruits high level talent. This class has some ballers in it.
