If Miami played LSU next weekend..

Not a fair assessment, Williams didn't play vs the 1's. You may be right in the end, but I'm not comfortable putting equal merit in performance vs 2nd string, when Rosier and Perry were with the 1's

If Miami played LSU next weekend..

Miami lost that game for two reasons. One, uncontrollable, Irma causing UM to play without a bye, and two, Mark Richt for not scheming to WIN. Deejay Dallas in the wildcat was a huge spark in the Virginia Tech and Notre Dame games. Richt put that wrinkle in his back pocket and didn't even...

If Miami played LSU next weekend..

Did you not read the rest of my post? I even said myself I know how much of a liability Rosier was for the offense last season. But Perry hasn't shown anything to suggest he would come in, without any collegiate snaps, and do as much / more than Rosier. If Perry was even equalling Rosier...

If Miami played LSU next weekend..

What concerns you at all from the defensive side? Depth is concerning but you can't look at the defensive line, now without big time contributors, and see there's no drop-off? With the offensive line being in disarray, the offense will not be 'okay' in any sense of the word. This is a HUGE...

If Miami played LSU next weekend..

No idea. I think LSU has its problems, starting with Ol Ed. As long as he is HC, I think they'll pull in decent talent and have 8 and 9 win seasons. As others have mentioned, they have no identity on offense. Miami SHOULD win this game, but Murphys Law has an obsession with the team

Syracuse beat Clemson, I guess by your logic, Miami shouldn't have lost so bad to Clemson. Show me something that will convince me that Miami won't struggle against teams they should dominate next season. Because I haven't seen enough offensively to even START to think we can compete...

Rosier did that on drives last season too. Again, I just don't see enough separation between Perry and Rosier.

You conveniently left off Pittsburgh. Why, because it didn't play into the point you tried to make? Those quarterbacks are playing for teams they should be playing for. Go look at their stats against a formidable opponent, and they're on par with Rosier. Syracuse QB threw 4picks vs UM and...

I would like to know how many stalled drives there were today, and what caused them? Errant throws or bad drops? Because if Perry made a good throw that was dropped, stalling a drive, that changes the dynamic completely. Same for Rosier.

Miami had Kaaya who was serviceable at best leave for the draft early, leaving Rosier as the only viable option due to **** poor recruiting from Golden. Perry comes in and redshirts, and is JUST behind a Quarterback with 14 starts under his belt, in his fifth year. It's not as bad as you make...

If Toledo, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh gave UM fits last season, then LSU is certainly not a team I'm overlooking.

Rosier would get the nod. Perry would be too much of a liability vs. LSU in an away game. I almost get nauseous feeling that way, KNOWING Rosier was such a liability for the team last season. I was so fed up last season with Rosier, I didn't care if Deejay ran the offense out of the wildcat...
