PODCAST: Everything Sucks and the Triple Option - Ft. DMoney and Jalen Wydermyer

It's dark times in Coral Gables and DMoney and I are here to commiserate. Things may not be going UM's way right now, but we try to find some optimism amidst all the negativity, while previewing Georgia Tech's triple option offense as well. Major Miami TE target Jalen Wydermyer also joins the show to give his reaction to his UM official visit last weekend.

Whatever the sound a dumpster fire makes should be the podcast. I'm anxiously awaiting Richt's "Clemson game" so we can move on to the next contestant, hopefully sooner rather than later. D posted that Richt isn't Golden. Yeah he is. They both failed.

Our OLine these next few weeks should be:

Lt - St Louis
Lg - Gauthier
C - Gaynor
RG - Donaldson
Rt - Scaife

With all the young OLine subbing in throughout the game. In other words, no fucking more Jahair Jones and Hayden Mahoney. But we also need to make sure Gaynor is fucking ready to be THE guy at center next year. And so far he's gotten like 2 games of pt which is stupid

Qb should obviously exclusively be the 3 freshman.

WR should have absolutely no more Langham. Pope and Njoku NEED to get more pt, while Wiggins has gotten more than his fair share. Starters should be Hightower, Thomas, Cager.

Can we get Mallory in the fucking game where he isn't asked to block?

I like Cager, and if he ever figures out how good he CAN BE he’ll be lethal, but he needs to sit and lose some snaps (I honestly think he can come back better for it). He’s more athletic than Langham but Langham has better hands. Let that sink in as you ask for no more Langham snaps.

Play Mallory. Play Ezzard. Play Njoku. Play Pope. I don’t know how much I want to see Harley or Wiggins, but their play has caused me to want to see the others - and I like Harley and Wiggins. Duggans coaching and rotations are beginning to concern me. He’s not Searels level bad, but he doesn’t need to be.

The only reason I won’t agree with you on playing the three Freshman exclusively is that I don’t believe in sacrificing Miami games. Ever. I’d rather win with Rosier than lose trying to find out which QB - who can’t beat out Rosier for the starting job - should run with the ones next year. Nope, bring in a grad-transfer and 3* because none of them may ever look great with the current OC.

They are trying to redshirt Gaynor, which is smart IMO. He is the kind of guy you want as a five year guy. He battles with Mahoney next year, and then you have him and Kinglsey or Maurice Smith.

So I'm taking it Ezzard isn't happy about being redshirted and is a transfer candidate?

Cager has been bad this year. Drops more balls than he catches and has the WOAT body language.

The truth is that no Richards was a massive hit to our offense. Now everyone just brackets JT4 and the other guys don't get open consistently.

Agreed. He also sounds like a pretty damn good kid. Good luck to him. I am hoping that the allure of Bama does not sweep him away. Hope he is a Cane!

Wydermyer sounded like he's got from the same cloth as Brevin. Sounded like he sees the bigger picture with us and I hope he commits to us!

Even if the other WR could get open, we don't have a QB who can get them the ball. Rosier can't hit the broad side of an 18 wheeler while it's moving and Perry tends to think he is the next coming of Favre when he throws to WR who are double or even triple covered.

Okay, So he can still play in 2 more games though and still redshirt. So why won't he? The whole "battles with Mahoney next year" is the part that is fucking retarded. We need to make sure Gaynor gets starting C reps THIS YR, so that he'll have that experience for next year. We only have 3 more games left. If he doesn't play. He BETTER play vs Pitt and the Bowl game if we fucking make one.

The entire OLine has been a fucking joke. It'd be one thing if it was just talent that was the problem, but they don't even know what the **** their job is half the time. That to me tells me OLIne coach has to go. Its one thing to just get beat on your blocks because you're not good. Its entirely different and 100% the responsibility of the coaches when everyone on the OLine is constantly fucking up their assignments.

And Kingsley doesn't even look like hes coming anymore anyways.

You'd rather win with Rosier? Problem is we aren't fucking winning with that crappy dude. Thats the fucking problem. Jarren Williams better get PT in the VTech, Pitt, and Bowl game (Potentially starting in 1-2 of them). And Weldon and Perry better be the guys getting the starts in the rest of the regular season games.
