I'll be completely honest... NINE games is entirely too much.
It's honestly hilarious that the NCAA is so ******* useless that they have just given up. I think they are doing this **** on purpose so that it becomes so chaotic that the schools go crawling back to them and they can start their selective enforcement again.

I dont think its on purpose. I think they just realized (as did coaches and players), they just have no power at all. They lose basically any lawsuit.

Had no idea. Looks like it was voted on a couple weeks ago.

6 games would make way more sense, since that would be half of the season. And then post season play shouldn’t count. They always go too far, like the playoffs should be 8 teams but they make it 12 and now are debating for it to be 16

Ya, someone isn’t going to be happy in the end. Whatever. That’s why Mario and Beard get paid the big bucks. They have to figure it out
Exactly! Yet that is the dynamic of intense competition that makes Miami, Miami.

Toney
Barkate
Vaughn
Jacobs
Moore
Upshaw
Wingo
Paris
Evans
Spafford
That's a very talented WR group. For the sake of argument let's say that Evans, Paris and Spafford end up taking a redshirt. That leaves 7 very talented WRs competing for essentially 4-5 spots. Let the cream rise to the top.

Almost impossible assuming Toney and Burkate are healthy. Those two are gonna get a lot of targets.

I can't wait to see who are 3rd starting WR is (even though we'll likely play 6 or guys). The fight for playing time between Jacobs, Vaughn, Moore, Upshaw, Wingo, Parris, et al will be interesting.
😮 No wonder JoJo left.... That's a lot of talent
