There are literally 100+ other players that are the same/better than he is AND those 100+ didn't leave town after we paid/developed the **** for 3 years. He was WR3 and had less yds at Bama than he had at Miami.
He definitely would not have made "the catch", a photo of which better go up on the wall of fame at UM.

Moving goal post? I brought up an example of how simply looking at one stat and claiming said player is better than the other player because of it is silly

Gotcha. I do think the two positions are hard to compare as DE does so much more than get sacks. But do agree a player can be a lot better than what their stats show sometimes

Marion provided two way starting flexibility… he was an all American KR. Granted we didn’t see much from this aspect but he definitely has it in him to pop one (maybe this week). Yes he scored less TDs but he’s the 3rd option behind Toney and Daniel’s at WR so not shocking he wasn’t seeing huge red zone targets.
Why do we even care? Giving energy to dudes we will never see play any meaningful football again.
