What I meant by my ? Is it seems like the staff has gone out their way to tell both Gaby and Wiltfong that we are no longer recruiting Ffrench. Even after it came out he’s having second guesses about going to college so far away from home. Now UF may get a last second flip because they stayed on him and we chose not to. Was saying did we like Upshaw so much that we decided he was taking that Z spot and we’re done WR recruiting or what happened to make us stop recruiting Ffrench?
I would guess they probably felt wasn't worth getting into a bidding War with UF over him.

We're likely going Portal shopping for a couple WR's this offseason, so wouldn't make sense to overspend for a HS WR who probably wouldn't play much as a TF.

Facts!!! My favorite recruit on the offensive side of the ball this cycle. Kid is a heck of a football player.
Honestly I feel pretty **** good about all of the skill guys on the offensive side of the ball (Pringle’s size worries me, especially since we refuse to run wide). I don’t remember being extremely impressed with Gilbert’s junior film when he committed but what he’s got out there of his senior stuff has me excited.

Extremely skeptical of the tackles, especially Campbell.

I think Pringle runs pretty tough for his size tbh. I hear you on the T prospects. Seem like reaches but we can afford projects if Bell, Samson, Kinsler, and Plazz all stay competing for the available T spot.

Wonder why he would go from Texas to UF

Lots of money. Florida boosters are stepping up. They are in desperation mode as they should be and they are letting their money talk as a program should if they want to compete at the top of college football.

BIG PAUSE

Iirc, he had 6 or 7 receptions in the first half against Hoover. And he's tough too. And last but not least, he's faster than people realize. I'm excited about keeping this kid in the class.

Unfortunately, I was also excited about keeping Merritt but apparently we moved on. I think his name will pop up in a few years as an outstanding cfb player.

Merritt might actually stick
