Delusional? Pringle was literally and objectively the best RB on the team during the regular season and carried the offense with Baby Jesus. You people need to watch the games.
How did he do in the playoffs when he couldn’t make blocks to protect the quarterback? How did he do then sport? Smh
Please post the evidence he couldn't block. Which sack or QB pressure did he give up? Which missed assignment?

Prior to Pringle taking over the running game and carrying us....

Fletcher's ypc average
2.3
3.3
4.6
5.6

Pringle averaged 6.0 ypc last year. He sparked and carried the team without Mark. I realize Fletcher took over and became a **** legend in the A&M game. I still consider it his team. But yeah I am at a loss trying to figure out why it's controversial to say Pringle will end up the best RB. Prior to the A&M game the debate was if it was Pringles team.
Pringle single handily dragged this offense out of the pits of **** last season.
People are just reimagining last year. The offense was on life support. Especially in the Syracuse game. The running game had been overall trash for 5 games in row. Fletcher was giving us something but everyone else was pure garbage. Pringle saved us

Pull the tape. Watch the games. The offense was garbage for 5 or 6 games and we were on life support. Pringle was 1 of 3 freshman who saved us. Lyle was garbage. Marty wasn't doing anything. Even Fletcher was not running well. Pringle started finding room where our other RB weren't. He was popping out of piles for 5 to 7 play after play. Fletcher got hurt and it was Pringle who carried the team with Baby Jesus. We saw this. It happened. Upshaw saved us also with that 50 yard screen against Syracuse. I don't hate on anyone saying Fletcher is RB 1. Sure he earned it, he carried the team during our run. However, it's absolutely within the realm of possibility here that Pringle ends up as the best RB on the squad. The young man proved he's in the mix already as a true freshman. He just needs the ball.
Dude stop it. Our offense was “garbage” 5-6 games bc our passing was trash and teams were stacking the box before we “let it rip”. Not only is Pringle absolutely behind Fletcher but he’s also 2a/2b with Marty who’s a better pass blocker and will be needed more this year. Pringle will get his touches esp with Lyle out but Marty’s been ballin fall camp and soon you’ll see why coaches trust him once we kick off.
The crazy take here is saying Marty who was a 3.9 ypc RB last year should be head or get any reps at all. He was like 3rd or 4th string somewhere around the Syracuse game because he was so ineffective. We sure as **** hope some of our guys take his reps.

I understand giving him reps in the playoffs as he was reliable and already had playoff experience over a smaller true freshman. But yeah we need way better at Miami to get #6.

I like that the RT competition has been quiet but im wondering if it’s more of we want a vet presence or if McCoy has actually out played everyone

The talk of leaning into the run sounds like we’re not 100% confident in our pass pro, which is fair because Francis and bell were lights out last year
What good is a "vet presence" if the vet isn't outplaying other options? Hold the guard's hand?

Honestly I think last year is more of a Dawson conversation. We didn't have TEs who could block and he adjusted way too late.
When he finally adjusted, Pringle was the hot hand. Then teams got tape of him in pass pro and he was nowhere to be found.

Fletcher is the better overall RB. Fletcher is a true bell cow. He punished defenders and gets better as the game goes on. He's great in pass pro and his leadership is off the charts. He's a lot faster that he gets credit for too.

Love Pringle too. Reminds me a little of Warrick Dunn.
I'm not mad at this. Fletcher earned his flowers. There's no need for emotional and outlandish takes. I like Pringle and think he's got a chance to be the man. It's not at all out of the realm or possibility.

Also stop rewriting history here. It wasn't until Fletcher's 3rd year and well into the playoffs he became what we thought he could be. Damien Martinez stole his lunch money in 24. He lost his starting job to Lyle last summer. The job fell to him and he did well early on. We definitely saw a better version of Mark like against USF. He was finally making some guys miss. It took 3 full seasons for Fletcher to reach his potential. And yet here's true freshman Pringle pushing everyone for that starting job at 18. I'm very excited to see some development from Pringle because players do actually get better as per the case with Mark.

So again I said what I said. Pringle is and will end up the best RB on the team. He's already got the vision and speed. Just a little more strength to run thru contact and we are cooking with her fuel here.
Saying it 10 times won't make it more or less true. If you are right and it is so obvious, I'm guessing we'll see a lot or Pringle. If not, we won't but I'm pretty sure you'll still think you're right

What did letting it rip mean in actuality because Beck’s worst games (and ours as a team) were his highest passing attempts games lol

I like Pringle a lot and I hope he has improved his pass blocking so he can be trusted more and earn more touches but we have a stable of backs will be ok regardless. Fletch is undeniably the leader the rest will fall in order depending on their play but don’t disrespect #6 dude put in work last year and was at times our most reliable back.

Marty brown was awesome last year. Don’t get the hate on him. Sure he’s not going to break Gibbs type of runs. But you could depend on the guy in the critical spots. Teams would be lucky to have him

Mainly the play calling and expanding the run game outside of the A gap. I don’t remember which game Dawson ran it off tackle but it was glorious. Running it out of the pistol formation. And we started using Toney in trick plays and all over the field getting touches…offense stopped playing in a phone booth.. we let it rip.

3.9 ypc is never awesome in CFB. He was clutch on multiple occasions, and earned free drinks for life status. I'm not hating on him. I hope he does a lot better than 3.9 ypc in 2026 and does contribute.

Fletcher is our #1 and Pringle is a legit #2 with the ability to be even more when he starts breaking tackles and developing

Imagine just being a normal human being and saying that without hyperbolic bull**** and corny “pull the tape” nonsense

Yea he is a solid back. I wouldn’t want him as my rb1 but as a backup I feel he can be effective. He reminds me of David Montgomery a lil bit. Similar size and game. Montgomery isn’t an explosive guy either he ran like a low 4.6 40 and if you look at his ypc in college it wasn’t that high
