He's not an elite athlete but he has some physical talent. Length being one of them. His feet are fine but he looks stiff in the hips when trying to change directions. Boundary corner that's very physical. I like the offer but he needs two years to work on technique and learning how to use his length. Small shifty receivers with good change of direction are going to give him trouble until he learns how to redirect them consistently.

Ivey’s worst plays have been mental/focus mistakes. Other times WR’s made plays coming down with contended balls. The Pitt game was huge for his confidence. Being in the right place at the right time is part of being a good/great player regardless of position. Kid is still developing. All our CB’s are still developing. Rumph can coach.

Go Canes!

I still worry. Even if Rumph can coach them up, we still need guys with good physical traits for him to work with. We shouldn't be struggling with athletes at Miami.

Zero worries. Manny knows defense and Rumph knows how to coach them

I agree. I’m really high on Clarke. I think he has an NFL future. Speed, balls skills, and looks willing to mix it up. Don’t know why he isn’t ranked higher honestly.
Same thing every year guys, its miami!! the hate is serious when our three stars leave miami they become four****s and almost all our four stars become three***s to keep our ranking down.

LoL, anybody worried about what db's come in or dont at this point are just looking hard for a reason to complain. As long as coach rumph and coach banda are here, i have zero worries. Especially after a series of clowns we had here as our db coaches, at first i was like what's the point of having a cornerbacks and safties coach, seemed weird at the time when coach richt made the hires, but it paid instant dividends, it would still be interesting to see a whole secondary coached only by coach rumph, but im real sure he's cool with being a coach at UM, born and raised, and should be here as long as he wants, he's the epitome of what kind of Cane coaches we should have here. Coach diaz belongs here as well as stubblefield and stroud, and coach barry's coaching technique's are starting to make its mark, and what i like about him, coach barry is not one of them ****'s looking for the limelight, all he's been doing is coaching them boys hard and getting results, cause one things for certain, our o-line consistently plays physical and are starting to start consistently locking guys up!

Exactly , and why I didn’t get everyone destroying him and questioning his speed. Dude was inside the receivers Unis on the catches. His issue is mental , physical is just fine.

It's a little, no, it's way to phucking early too be blowing Barry like this. His O line has had arguably one great game against a terrible team, and maybe one other decent one?

Sir, the o-line along with the protection schemes have all improved, if you cant see that, than you'll just catch on later. Once scaife got put back out to right tackle and jaai clark came in and is doing what he has to do, that instantly settled this o-line down. Coach barry has figured out the type of players he has better, campbell being a back-up guar, pushing and taking reps from donaldson is a solid move. The competition has been on going on that o-line, the weak links have been getting weeded out. While Fsu is not playing like a good team, their d-line was no slouch, along with pitt and along with UVA. This o-line is coming along, no seniors, come next year,, navaughn will be the only one. The beautiful part now though is, we got several o-linemen that have been able to redshirt and with good health, those guys will have even more time to keep developing, we are in good hands, and notice how you dont hear a word from coach barry, just let's his coaching do the talking and that's the same mindset the o-line is taking, let their playing do the talking!

Looks solid. this is a 4 or 5 year kid.
You take a flyer on him and hope he never has to play before he’s ready.

Track guy I don’t worry about his athleticism.

I’m glad we are looking local to find potential.

Is this kid better than Hodges??? I really liked that kid.
