Three of Miami's six transfer portal additions rank inside 247Sports Top-100 Player Rankings
In the latest 247Sports Transfer Portal Player Rankings, which concluded after the Transfer Portal closed last week, several Miami Hurricanes were ranked in the top 100.
Malik Reneau is ranked No. 51, Tre Donaldson No. 63, and Ernest Udeh Jr. No. 95. Other Miami signees from the transfer portal, such as New Mexico guard transfer Tru Washington, who missed the cut with a ranking of No. 120 among portal players, as well as Missouri transfer small forward Marcus Allen and Georgia transfer guard Jordyn Kee, missed the list.
Here is a little breakdown of each Miami signee that landed in the top-100:
Malik Reneau
Reneau, from Miami, was the first new addition to the Hurricanes' team. After playing three seasons at Indiana, he chose to enter the transfer portal and join Miami. In his junior year with the Hoosiers, the 6-foot-8 forward scored an average of 13.3 points and grabbed 5.5 rebounds per game. He had a shooting percentage of 55.2% and scored in double digits 19 times on a team that won 19 games.
Tre Donaldson
Donaldson, a 6-foot-3 guard who played a pivotal role in leading the University of Michigan to the 2025 Big Ten Tournament title and a Sweet Sixteen appearance, has joined the Hurricanes after averaging 11.3 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.5 rebounds while starting every game during the 2024-25 season.
Ernest Udeh Jr.
Udeh Jr., a 6-11, 260-pound center from Orlando, Fla., transferred to the Hurricanes after two seasons at TCU, where he averaged 5.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, started all 59 games, and received All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2024-25 while ranking seventh in rebounds 7.5 and 11th in blocks with 1.3.
