His mom and dad have done interviews and stated that the appeal was filed with the NCAA. I wouldn't say that winning the appeal is out of reach. He was suspended from the team under Muschamp coaching staff, and the new coaching staff never reached out to him. He didn't transfer on his own, so the situation is a little different.

There was nothing but bleakness in Petes post.

We lack depth across the board. We also lack difference makers. Aside from Kaaya, there isn't a single player that you can point the finger at and say that's an impact player. Potential is there for a few players but the coaches don't put them in a position to succeed. Whole thing is a giant mess.

Pretty much. I do think Grace will have a great year though.

We have 3 CBs on the roster that have played. Then Mayes, Henley, Jackson, Redwine. That is an embarrassment.
Heady Trent Harris will be getting 75% of the snaps while AQM is sitting on the bench.

I was calling for big things from Jackson when everyone else was dogging him. I want credit.

Weren't you the one was arguing with me over Owens last year? How did that end for you?

Owens was a monster last year. You were right. Wasn't he a Butkus semi-finalist?

Lmao. Yeah, yeah that's it.
Owens had the worst season of any Miami LB in the last 7 years. He had a huge problem getting off blocks, was never around the ball, and made almost no plays. He looked totally lost. He did show some promise late in the season as a pass rusher.

Idk what you were watching. He showed a ton of a promise as true freshman. The converstion was about which freshman was a darkhorse to start at some point during the season. He got a ton of playing time, and I remember him starting a couple games--whether he was listed as a starter or not (you can thank personnel groupings for that). His future is very bright.

What grade is your reading level at?

Says the guy who ends his sentence with a preposition.

Right of queue! Idiot number two has arrived. Glad to see you here.

You're right.
Eh. Preposition standing is permissible. It's more of a stylistic thing, but you wouldn't understand that.

"Right of queue!"

lmfao McKean's Law is alive and well. Idiot he says. lmfao

Stylistic he says.

bfd

I guess when you're off base you just start arguing semantics and minutiae.

I win.

You win what? You criticized a guy for his reading level all the while looking like a moran.

Stop taking yourself so seriously bro. Your Lombardi schtick is weak.

What does it tell us about Paul Williams when freshman CB's are more ready to play with limited Paul Williams time over veteran CB's with maximum Paul Williams time?

Antonio Crawford situation sums up Paul Williams situation nicely. Veteran who has played major snaps and is one year away from a shot at the pros instead decides to sit out a year in order to not be here anymore.

Why recruit and sign Ryan Mayes and Mike Smith? Seems that they have very little chance to succeed.
This isn't defending them, nor Chumley or any of the coaches...but while we want every guy we recruit to be an All-American, you also need those guys who may not be every-down impact players, but can fill in the holes on Special Teams and on scout team in practices to give your offense/defense a good look at the opponent's gameplan as you've scouted it.

If Mayes/Smith don't end up being stars, maybe they're those types of guys instead. I'm alright with that. In a perfect world, sure, you want your backups and their backups to be as good as your starters...but this world ain't perfect.

Signing Ryan Mayes and Mike Smith was Golden's attempt to get Uncle Luke off his back...SMH

Yet, if we were able to develop talent we'd still get the most out of these guys. FSU would turn both guys into decent players, during 1 off-season.

It'll take 3 years before they'll make a major impact here, if any. :monkey-serious:

I see what you did there. It is apparent that we will never, ever get a stud DB from SFL as long as PW is here. They laugh at him. Is Al so stupid that he does not see this...or does PW have a nasty pic of AG and No D?:U5PyXda:

every year Alfredo is here, these football reports get progressively more and more uninspiring. Meanwhile, the basketball reports get more and more encouraging.

Antonio Crawford stated that he wanted to be a "STAR" so I hope it works out for him at WV.

Any word on whether or not Golden's wife is getting tired of living in Miami yet?

Honestly...that's the only topic that matters right now. Some of the characters on this board gushing over guys gaining weight and accruing another season is an abomination of a system are funny. Program is a **** show right now.

I hope nothing for the best for Trent Harris and his future at Miami and beyond, but I sure didn't want to hear that he's the guy I should expect to get more snaps as a defensive leader. He looked like the classic "I'm smart and I go hard so coaches love me" kid last year - which are good things - but he didn't look like someone who's going to impact a game. Very hopeful he'll make me look foolish and dominate this year.

I couldn't have said it better. I didn't see anything from last year that would make me believe he's the guy. Maybe that's the problem with these coaches.

**To quickly address the Taylor Gadbois situation – I was told from a very good source last October that Gadbois would be suspended a year due failing an NCAA drug test. According to this individual, it was a failed test for performance enhancing drugs. Deer antler spray has been the rumored substance, but no confirmation on that. Miami coaches had been “tired” of Gadbois’ attitude for some time. His recent dismissal is no surprise, but it ends an up-and-down career at Miami for him. He is an extremely talented player that you would hope realizes his potential at some point.

"Tired?" TIRED?!? Have these clowns ever had to lead young men like this into ACTUAL combat, not just a game?? Trust me, in the military it is not the cookie-cutter trooper being led by a maniacal sergeant like civilians believe (thanks to the movies). You have all kinds of personalities, strengths and weakness...What kind of counseling did this staff do to try and prevent Gadbois from using the spray and helping him to channel his (for his position, beneficial) aggressiveness? Did they document it and take it to from Kehoe to Coley to Golden? These guys are being payed $$$$$$ and they are outdone by bunches of E-5s and E-6s who get payed a fraction of their salaries.

I'm "tired" of a million excuses, media ducking, incompetent, eunuch of a coach whose most proficient at LOSING...Fire Fataweenie Alfredo Goldenusky before it is too late.

Tell that dumb **** the truth, timujian! This dude's so desperate for attention that he's patting himself on the fupa for calling Owens when Owens hasn't done ****. I think he's been eating his grease pencils.
