What part of the "this isn't a talent issue" are you not getting? I really hope Kaaya ends up having as strong of a college career as Murray did, but Kaaya needs to start willing his team to victories before we get to that point.

Kaaya can't catch the ball after he throws it. a lot of drops in crucial situations and a lot of play-calling down and distance issues that exposed our poor O-line play.

post is pure nonsense. You must not understand the game.

Post is a bunch of ***** *** excuses. I see the Golden era has still left a bunch of our fans soft.

Brad Kaaya versus Deshaun Watson: Advanced Stats Breakdown - College Football Film Room

I'm not sure why people are having a hard time understanding this. I think Kaaya is very talented. I've been very impressed watching him do a number of things, particularly his ability to throw an accurate ball with defensive pressure in his face and his overall accuracy. I really hate having this argument with people because I want to win, and Brad is the biggest key to that. If you guys are happy with what he's done over the past 2 years, then great, more power to you. But I know he needs to do a **** of a lot more on third downs and the fourth quarter if we're going to get back to the national picture over the next 2 years. And I know that Richt is the perfect guy to bring him up to that level.

You are blaming Kaaya for having bad coaching a play calling. Go look at the route combinations we ran under Coley and then be amazed that Kaaya even posted the stats that he did. It's hard for Kaaya to win a game when we run the same basic middle school level route combinations 90% of the time.

Did that asshat put Jacory in Aaron Murray's stratosphere???? Meth is a powerful drug

In 2012, UGA had one of the top ranked offenses in the country & Aaron Murray (I think) was the #1 rated QB that season.
Kaaya is light years better than Murray & even though Richt wasn't calling plays back then, we've seen that with a halfway decent QB he can produce a pretty potent offense.

Yeah...Kaaya better than Murray?? He hasn't shown that kind of ability....he hasn't proven it

Lol. Aaron Murray is the SEC's all time leading passer. Kaaya has a long ways to go before being mentioned in the same sentence as Murray, let alone being "light years ahead". My god.

You do realize how stupid that sounds don't you? Great he is the sec leader in career passing yards. Few things there champ #1 sec hasn't produced all that many great quarterbacks in the big picture. They've got there fair share but like Murray did how many of them started the whole time they were in college? Not many. He leads the sec because he started the entire time and was a decent quarterback for all of his years and actually good his senior year. But to say kaaya has a long way to go to be as good or better than him is crazy. He already has Murray in spades. Hence Aaron Murray's nfl career indicates. Lol

LOL. Why don't you actually speak in specifics instead of vague terms. Like tell me how Murray compares to the Manning brothers who also started all 4 years? Or the quarterbacks of Spurrier's fun n gun offenses. Or Jay Cutler who also started 4 years. Admittedly it's not the strongest conference for QB's, but they've had some of the best go through there.

Are we to compare them based on Aaron Murray's career? How did Ken Dorsey's NFL career go? Gino Torreta's?

For all of the talent Kaaya has, he is 10-12 against FBS opponents. There's nothing more common than an unsuccessful man with talent.

Murray had the benefit of being taught the game and position by a guy who groomed Heisman QBs at FSU. Kaaya was stuck with retards who never accomplished anything and are now low level position coaches.

You guys love dumping on Kaaya for never winning anything but leave out the fact that he was coached by the worst staff in D1. UM fans are the only people who love to degrade Kaaya. Everyone else, including the NFL, loves him.

Brad is a stud anyone can go back and check....when i saw his film i saw peyton type footwork and knew he would be a first rounder....called that **** early. Chise right....he progressed with bozos coaching

Blame the staff, blame the O-line, blame the receivers, I don't really care to have this argument anymore. I just want to start winning.

How has nobody interviewed Mo Smith to ask him what he's doing at this point?

All the Bama reporters say he's gone, all our guys say is nothing been's decided yet and that he might stay. Neither side has a single quote from Smith though. Is it really that hard for a reporter to just ask the kid? I refuse to believe he's "undecided" at this point

Are you aware of his actual stats?in kaaya 2 years with a joke of an oc he has almost exactly half of what Murray had in 4 years including bowl games... not sure why you can't stand for that comparison. In reality a far better comparison for Murray & someone closer to his talent level would be jacory harris. Lol

So Kaaya needs to "start willing his team to victories"

You're absolutely right.

When he was on the sidelines he should've put on a tinfoil hat and should have concentrated much harder to make the defense play better.

Or he should have willed Coley to not call a halfback pass in a snowstorm.

Or he should have willed Yearby to throw that pass better.

Or he should have willed his offensive linemen not to get beat when they had 5 on 2.

Or he should have willed for his team not to be bloated by Dorito's diabeetus defense eating regimen.

Or he should have willed his team to play better from his limp passed out corpse on the sidelines in the Clemson game.

I could go on all day, but you get the idea.

They also trashed Duke for the same things. Not dominating in big games. They don't realize to win the big games you need a complete performance from the team and a coaching staff smart enough to call the right plays

I never trashed Duke. Someone blamed him for losing to Nebraska but I forget who that was.

He does not graduate Alabama until first week of August. He is still under their rules and cannot do any interviews now. Of course he's not undecided. He knows what he's doing. He needs to graduate first, though.

I didn't mean to start a huge argument, all I was trying to say was that in 2012, UGA had one of the best Offenses in the country with a good QB.
So, with Kaaya, the WR's corp, the TE's & the RB's, we have the potential to have a potent offense.
However, I will stand by my statement of Kaaya being better than Murray.

Ok great, thanks for the update

Go watch some of our games if you can stomach it. Kaaya is the reason we were even competitive and he was incredible against fsu two years in a row and our defense choked it away twice.

This thread has turned into something really stupid. Brad Kaaya is good. Pretty good chance he improves on what he did his first two years. If he does, team will be better. If he is worse the season will be a disaster. What is more likely?

We have had an influx of retards here lately.......who in their right mind would compare Kaaya to Kellen fricking Moore?

Cold hard truth right here!

To add some credit where it's due. Coley was a horrible play caller but his one intangible I appreciated him for was eyeing good QB talent. I wasn't completely sold when he found Kaaya but then Sherriefs and then Allison. He could spot good QB's for sure.

Pete GREAT STUFF once again, I'm happy I can Finally post on here!!
