Meanwhile, Florida gonna have a top 5 class coming off a 4-8 season. **** our lives.

Makes you wonder what excuse the Al Golden loving, Don Bailey Jr supporting crowd will have for this disappointing recruiting cycle.

**Look for Miami to pick up a player or two after signing day. They are expected to have a couple of extra scholarships available. There is a decent chance that Brayden Lenius pushes his signing back after Wednesday. If he does that, he will most likely take a trip to Miami.

I'm over the whole picking up players after signing day bull****. Golden just needs to get it done, enough with the band aids.

Corn is a good player to pick up after NSD. As was Griffin (except we know the deal). I don't mind getting guys like this after NSD. If you are referring to the 2011 class, that is unfair IMO. The guy was here for 6 weeks and was trying to bring some kids in.
I don't mind hitting the waiver wire if we want to add a player or two. I just think Golden relies on it too much because of the misses on signing day. IMO. 2011 is an exception.

Figures we might land harris who we dont need at all and will be a bench warmer

I'm really more concerned that our staph can't develop or use the good talent that is already on the team.

the seahawks didn't need more first rounders than everybody to win the championship.

Golden gonna have a heat flash when they start interviewing him.

Which players are you referring too...

2011 shouldn't count IMO, he had no choice. I am all for calling Al and Co out for the issues they create but let's be fair. Who are these players that he counts on after the wire?

Im 100% confident in this staff to get 9 wins with the talent we have had in these probation/death penalty years is quite remarkable

some of these arguments make no sense. all his jags were in 2011. last year he got gilbert who was all big 10, corn and griffin who were all american caliber. We have two highly regarded busts in jelani and grimble. also, dequan ivory we flipped out of no where to us from louisville and was well-regarded. unfortunately, we only seem to get dt's who can qualify but are lazy. Our academics hurt us with Stuckey who is a beast and honestly, travonte might not be coming here because of his grades and just saving face.

Pete,

Why we have your attention? Is this kid going to line up for spring ball?

Naim Mustafaa, I see that he is still enrolled in school.

Don Bailey Jr. annoys me too. Makes everything seem like it's good when it's not

Good to have you back Pete. I have come to terms with TV's sale to LSU. The upside is his loss kills Al's 3-4. No NT for Al. Class has fine DTs for a 4-3 though and great DEs for one. I am hoping Al has no choice for to change. I like getting Treon now. Clearly FSU used him so maybe him and Ice will be more reasonable if he doesn't make it at QB. Between this and the whole "we own your rear" last year with the LB, BTW should have a clear vision of what the criminoles are like.

Courtel Jenkins is a NT all day and twice on sunday. Not to mention there are several under the radar types out there.

Remember AG when he was a 3* Temple developed NT Terrance "Pot Roast Knighton who plays for the Denver Broncos.

Go Canes

IMHO people are sleeping on Jenkins. Ideally we would be able to redshirt him, but I think he can come in and help right away. TV would have been more likely to have an immediate impact, but Jenkins is a very good NT prospect in his own right.

i agree. i would have loved to redshirt him. i also think especially if we keep chad and mustafa comes back. our DE talent will be excellent.
