So right now the 2 best players in Dade for 2018 are both going to end up priorities for Alabama. This one is gonna hurt.

We have had battles with them for years both winning and losing, will be that way for awhile

Let's be real, we rarely beat them when they make a kid a major priority. Deon Bush was not a major priority for them. Neither was Chad Thomas. They would have taken both but they weren't Amari Cooper level recruits.

Richards is the only one I can think of. If we keep Jobe and Pope home we will know something has actually changed. But what has given you any confidence in that happening?

Saban really wanted deon, they came extremely hard after chad in the end if it wasnt for his relationship with coley he would have flipped, he really wanted artie too, you mentioned richards, yes they really recruited all of them hard

All true. Burns was even committed to Bama for months.

This. Saban had Chad play the piano and his lakehouse. Didn't Saban's wife pull a Mrs. Bowden and bake something for either Deon or Artie? Regardless, Bama had spots for all those guys.

Miami won't be great until Nick Saban retires

Bull****. Saban's coaching actually gets too much credit. It isn't Saban's system, it's the fact that he manages all of Bama's money and resources well: An school athletic department that prioritizes winning because of an inbred, obsessive fanbase, the Red Elephant Club, and, most importantly, a support staff of over a hundred. Teams like Bama, and all their resources, aren't going away. When Saban retires, even if they were to fall off a bit, someone else would just step in. Ohio Taint, Michigan, Clemson...they get it. You can only have 85 players, but you can have an army of support staff to break down film and find tendencies, identify and steal signals, and memorize each recruit's favorite color.

How did Rix do when it came to keeping Saban out of Georgia when he was at UGA? Did Saban go in there and cherry pick guys that he wanted, or did Rix have it on lockdown?

I know Rix had his major local Georgia blunders like thinking Cam should be a TE and Deshawn Watson was a DB. But I'm not talking about that as much as I am his ability to keep Saban from poaching blue chip Georgia players from him. That will tell us a lot about how he'll do down here trying to protect the fort.
Who is Rix?

Who is Rix?

Our OC. Mark Richt and Patrick Nix's son. They named him Rix
