what do you mean "the staff didn't accept the commitment"?

he is a 3* isnt he?
Maybe they are happy with Irvin Jr. Or maybe they have someone else higher or a silent? It does seem odd, a 3* from Louisiana that's good enough for TAMU.

Perhaps because he hasn't visited yet. I've heard that Richt wont accept commitments unless they've visited.

Lol, lsu boards are saying Logan's mom is a big lsu fan and has been pushing him to lsu. Fwiw, Ed reed has been in his ear for a while now.

Surprised about the Smith news, posted about this kid on this site trying to get him on the radar when he had no offers. He is one of my favorite TEs in this class by far.

4* on ESPN. Only thing I can think of is maybe they want him to visit first.

In summary....we have a chance at a few Louisiana kids....

Thanks for the update, Pete.

Logan and Guidry would be a homerun.

Team is still desperately lacking in quality DTs, we need 2 impact guys at that spot

I can't remember the last stud DT we signed. Probably goes all the way back to Coker days

Logan and/or Guidry would be a phenomenal pull for our class. Call me crazy, but I just don't see how we can pull an 0-fer at DT with Coach Kool rockin' Orange and Green now.

That Irvin Smith kid is taking an OV to Bama this weekend, according to 247. Looks really impressive in his senior highlights. Like him more than Haskins and he's drawing interest from better programs than Haskins.

Wonder if there's just no interest from our side or if the staff wants him to visit before possibly pulling the trigger on flipping.

Guidry has very impressive film. I havent checked out Logan but the film I watched on Guidry was nice! HE would be a HUGE get! Very much like Sheldon Richardson.

Christmas has blew up and became a primadona . Don't really care about a TE right now. But if we can pull Carter, Logan & Guidry we are set

Richt is a god with moms. Someone from UM's side should alert Logan's mom to Orgeron's sordid past. If she loves good guys like Richt it'll cement that even more.

Be careful of what u wish for as far as what mom's know. Richt's teams at UGA were far from choir boys and had many run in with law for various reasons. That along with not winning was the reason he was ran out of Athens.

But, I do agree he is not as bad as Orgeron.

1. Washington State 31

Holy ****, this is what happens when you're a team that gets no attention and you're located in the middle of nowhere. Is Washington State a football team or a criminal syndicate?

2. Florida 24

Interestingly, if you combine Florida and Ohio State's arrests, Urban Meyer would be number one on this list.

3. Georgia 22

Totally where I would expect to see Georgia, the Bulldogs can't even get the most arrests in the SEC, they Georgia'd it.

3. Texas A&M 22

Fun fact, the only place that carries the Longhorn Network in College Station? Jail.

5. Oklahoma 21

Gotta give it to Bob Stoops, he finished behind three SEC teams even on this list.
