The States of Miami

Are there any Canes from Michigan? I can’t think of any, but I also didn’t pay attention to recruiting until the last 5 years or so

I grew up in Dallas, it remains a Miami stronghold. When I go home and rock my gear, people start talking. People forget that in Dallas, people like Jimmy and Mike are untouchable legends. There is a lot of talent in metro Dallas and Houston and those kids are extremely responsive to the Miami sales pitch.

KJ Osborn was the only one that came up when we were looking into it. Ypsilanti native.

Oh yes! But I think Medaris was from Missouri?
You sure??? I know he's from the Ozarks but those mountains don't stop at the Arkansas State Line so I won't be surprised if you're right family. Either way, an All-Time great and imo one of the most underappreciated Canes ever...

Edit: I just saw where my OG @caneinorlando chimed in, he's from the Missouri side...

Not Canes related, but Ohio also gave Miami 2 of the GOATs in their respective lanes, Don Shula and Bron (for a couple of years, anyway). I wish that my state had contributed more, but Bernie bringing the first ring and helping start the dynasty is good enough for me.
