Not blaming D$ but this update sucks. If we lose Chance (where's this smoke coming from?), I highly highly doubt the staff will get Jeremiah Smith. I don't feel good about anyone else mentioned, maybe we are top 3 but doesn't feel like we are sitting at 1. Do we really need 3 RB's? We have Citizen, Allen, Fletcher, C Johnson. And I think Don and Parish could come back if they want. Seems like overkill?
Yeah that's a lot of RBs, but what if they all get injured? Who's gonna run the ball when we're up 3 with 35 seconds left?

Really we should be taking 4, just in case

Not a good look if chance leaves to Ohio state interesting why he would want to go up there the wide receiver room stacked going to have wait his turn while at Miami has a chance to Play day one
Might have to put out a hit on that fat **** OSU groupie if Chance flips.

Regarding recruiting Landen Thomas, I don't know why any big TE would be interested thus far into the season. We barely use the TEs in the passing game.

We use to feature the TE, but this year, they're basically just run blockers.

This is negatively affecting the passing game. In watching Roman Cane's breakdown of the game, he pointed to the GT defenders ignoring the TE on passing routes which led to an interception and a PBU because a defensmder was able to help in coverage ignoring the TE.

Teams are now scheming against our lack of TE use in the passing game.

I've been very disappointed in the lack of TEs in the passing game given the talent we have in that room.

Qb? Well if we do make sure he isnt a one trick pony like tvd .. needs some wheels
With the way we are recruiting and developing the OL, if we can get a QB who can make every throw accurately and process the information quickly, I don't care if he is a fucckin statue back there.

I'd be surprised if Parrish returns with RB shelf lives in the NFL and the shortage of backs that can pass protect and hold onto the football.

Chaney keeping up what he's doing he might need to head to the league while he's healthy.

Citizen would be the best on the roster if he didn't get hurt. Completely up in the air - no idea what to expect post injury. Might be a totally different dude and could come back better than ever. With our history of injuries and recovery.. it's bleak
IMO, Chaney needs another year here. He has to show he can stay on the field and will be much quicker, faster and agile in the second-year post surgery. We have not seen his best ball. This year, undrafted FA, next year, sky is the limit.

we were told TEs would be used in this offense. maybe they will, but haven't seen it yet.

even if he came back, do you really see him going in the first 3 rounds? RBs are never high picks (Achane was a third rounder and hes better than don). it might be wise for a kid who was often hurt to head for the league healthy and not get lost in the RB shuffle potentially with Riley coming in, a healthy citizen (yea Santa is real too), a healthy fletcher, and CJ Jr.

If Don Chaney is able to regain the quick burst and long speed, he came out of H.S. with, he won't have to worry about Freshman and Sophomore backs taking carries away from him. Regardless of draft position this year or next, if he wants to stick in the League, he will have to gain the step he lost via injury. That ain't happening before the end of this year.

We haven’t had our pass catching TE healthy to play until Georgia tech arroyo has been out Williams finally got game action caught a TD last game, not sure what’s happening with skinner and cam is a running blocking te

true but if youre him nd you finish your first ever season healthy - why not regain that step in the pros if someone is willing to take a shot on you even in the late rounds (i dont see his draft stock improving beyond that this year or next based on the value of the position and his injury history)? it makes no sense for him to come back if he gets picked in the draft at any point imo esp at a position where youre gone and out of the league within a season

I blame TVD for a lot of this, dude is a one read QB, that read is almost always Restrepo

Wiltfong wrote yesterday that he thinks Jeremiah Smith will most likely stick with OSU but if he flips it will probably be to FSU.

Exactly, we have TEs open, pause, but it’s never the primary read and TVD very rarely checks down or moves off 1 or 2. Had that really nice throw to McCormick in the A&M game late down the middle, but that’s a rarity.
