I'm getting the drift.

They're fūcking around, testing the waters for a "better deal", not fully committed. So there's a chance they might find something better for them, in the short term, anyway.

If these fūckers would just look at the big picture they'd be straight.

I think I'm reading this right.

If players use um for better offers u know that what dee said about offer$ is right because why behave this way if u aint getting bread. If MR can somehow offer what those other schools cabt we will be back in no time. If he cant we r in trouble.....he cant have those early warning red flags where he loses elite prospects down the road an expect to be dominant. Those r the red flags i look for early in the beginning of a coaches tenure.

They have to close

Miami can't play that game.

We'll lose every time.

Understand the difference between their revenue stream and their booster network and ours. That will answer all your questions about what we can and can't do. These are just facts.

The wealth of the UM community privately dwarfs that of Bama and the redneck public SEC schools.

The difference is this: very few of the UM millionaires and billionaires care all that much about football. And the ones that do, wouldn't be caught dead giving a wad of cash to some kid.

At Alabaga? The average annual income is barely above the poverty line but every last one of those toothless scum would give their last penny just to see the football team win. That's all they have in their lives. And that's why in the most wretched places in the country you find those type of "boosters" carrying (and dropping) bags.

They have a lot of poors that are alumni at SEC schools but don't get it twisted, they have a bunch of mega rich Alum also.

Don't think it's smart to talk about us playing the game on a message board.

They both have a lunch meeting with a few former players in particular. Tired of the dumb **** with these two.

Nice to see some former players taking ownership. Hope they straighten these dudes out and explain to them what an honor and privilege it is to be offered a UM scholarship and to not toy with the legacy they built.

Brook u better tell em I know i would

I'm going to dinner with a few of us & them tonight. I snap on these two on a regular.

You folks also need to remember: it's not like these are two kids from Hotchkiss figuring out whether to follow their grandfather's footsteps to Yale ... Couple of young guys from the hood, never had ****, and now a bunch of old crusty white men is throwing love. What do you expect? For every one Lingard, there's 50 Jobe's with a crew from the barber shop telling them how to get the ink and the paper. It aint right, but it is what happens with these kids. Can't blame them for getting swept up in the current.

Be that as is may, Dee, in the end, both these kids are 'Canes.

Probably they are but the threat is very real indeed

Boy, You idiots know how to f up a perfectly good thread...

I wouldn't be so sure.

They have some mega rich boosters, just do your own research. Especially Bear Bryant's son and his banking business. Lots of opportunities to do things. They also have highly monied foundations that we don't have.

There's demographically way more money in south Florida, it's just not that much with our boosters. We have a much smaller school, with a much smaller alumni base, and our boosters aren't the ultra rich, for the most part.

There's tons of rich people in S Florida, 99% don't give a shīt about UM football, almost all are not alums.

This is what people that aren't from down here don't get about Miami and South Florida.

U realize that an insider (dee) whos close to the program an x player is saying they r playing games and he posted about it. What type of reaction would u have wanted?

Don't think it's smart to talk about us playing the game on a message board.

First, STFU, telling people what to post.

Second, we don't play the game, but how would you know, you're in 4th period middle school health class in Atlanta right now.

It's always been there, it's always been used.

Bama has operated this way forever.

What Saban brought to the table was competence and then coaching excellence, which created enthusiasm among the pursestring holders, who then were willing to fork out even more money

Was always there, they got hit with major sanctions for a minute and had to chill, then Shula just failed before they just stopped fvckin around and offered Saban NFL money.

Don't think it's smart to talk about us playing the game on a message board.

I dont really think it ****ing matters what fans say on an internet forum, broke.

Just saying man ****...

They aren't saying we do, they're saying why we don't/can't. The same reasons you cringe, when someone mentions miami, and benefits in the same sentence, is exactly why those who could, won't! We've had enough sanctions, we just need to worry about football for the time being.

Boy, You idiots know how to f up a perfectly good thread...

U realize that an insider (dee) whos close to the program an x player is saying they r playing games and he posted about it. What type of reaction would u have wanted?

That's what is so frustrating - we just got the word they're playing games - and some retards here are discussing everything BUT.

By the way, when's Shapiro getting out?
