Hood is crucial to the success of the '21 class. A bit off topic, but Chase Smith should be our top target at OLB. Good to hear Tyler Johnson moves well in space, I was worried whether either of our OLBs could backpedal and move side to side well.

The same 2021 4* ATH Chase Smith that UM offered as a WR. You want him at LB instead?

I'm of the smaller percentage that believes if he keeps himself out of trouble in 2020 then he will have the opportunity to be in the 2021 class. You can't convince me that CMDs staff (Cooney-Fields-Hyppolite-Lockette-Hickson) aren't chipping away and keeping tabs on T2 below the surface. If T2 wants to stay home for college and he stays out of trouble, he'll have the opportunity to do so.

Can't preach culture and then have a kid who sexually assaulted a females dad

Yea no, Ivins confirmed yesterday his offer is for Backer/Striker.

G5 at best. He doesn't move well enough in space nor big enough to just be a thumper.

As a walk-on special teams ace, then maybe. But there are way too many plus-sized athletes locally to lock in.

This isn't a "should Miami offer them" thread.

Dont think Willie Williams is part of the Slap-a-hoe tribe.
Also, Williams' juvenile record was sealed. Everyone in the country was recruiting him. No one knew about his background until he signed a letter of intent for Miami. Then the Gainesville District Attorney (who was also a croc booster) released his background records.

Yeah, if he was too much for a young Crowder, that says something.
Crowder was a wild boy himself, so him telling that story about Willie tells you everything you need to know about Willie Williams. He was on another level. Complete badass.

SN: It's great to see how he has turned his life around since getting out of prison. He's a productive law-abiding citizen now. He dedicates most of time to helping the youth stay in shape and growing his gym and business. Have to give credit where it's due. Respect to Willie ✊🏾.

Is the book on Jennings closed? Surely he can't be dumb enough to go to FSU. Also, does anyone think that Metayer will stay in the class?
Can't speak on the Jennings situation, I've got zero info there.

With Metayer, it'll boil down to him agreeing to play DE and DE only (which I'm glad our staff is being 100% honest with him about). I think we only have space for 2 DEs this cycle with WR/CB/OL being the priority positions, so with that being said, word is that the Sager kid from NY is being recruited at DE not LB, and if that's the case, IMO that might be shedding light on Metayer staying as a DE or looking elsewhere to play offense (TE/WR).

Well if Metayer agrees to play DE it will be him and Ishmael if we snag him. 2 DE's is enough. Roche and GR15 are likely gone after this year and Blissett just moved to DE.
