Bryan committed to South Carolina, not an issue for us

Yea Thompson, Burns, and Felix seem like the 3 for this class

We're taking 2 not three...Thompson's here right now....I don't think he will be in February

Due to grades or interest from the staff?
Neither, just look at the backs we're in play for Carr, McFarland, and Swift are better than him by miles, Darrien Felix is definitely better than him, and so is CJ cotman. nvlahos if don't land one of these guys I'll be shocked

-Carr took a visit but I doubt he flips from USC

-Maryland has some major momentum right now with DJ Durkin. I bet McFarland stays home and goes to the Terps

-Swift has been offered, but is there any interest?

I see Burns, Thompson, and Felix as an ATH/APB

Carr's a qouted "soft" commit, plus he paid his own way to come here

McFarland has been quoted saying Thomas Brown is like a big brother

Swift put us in a top 10, I get that it's a top 10 list but they don't just throw schools in there unless there is interest

The evaluation period literally just started there's probably names on that board we have no idea they're even recruiting. This oh, we can't go OOS and win because of this guy or this BS needs to stop...Ron Dugans was USF's best recruiter, Todd Hartley was Marshall's best recruiter, **** not only was coach Kool probably the best position coach at Missouri and maybe even in the country at D-line but there's a reason he's the lead guy at IMG. We can legitimately win recruiting battles

Some more career reviews....

Robert Burns - Literally always hurt at Miami, transferred to UConn, totaled 12 carries for 45 yards in 2021. Owns a donut shop & a nonprofit that feeds the needy, so he's doing good in the community.

Ben Thompson - Dropped by Miami & signed with UCF. Redshirted first year, was part of UCF RB rotation in 2018, led team with 600 rushing yards & 8 TDs in 2019, relegated to a committee role again in 2020, left team in the middle of fall camp in August, football future unclear. The Calvin Ridley of RBs, I believe he turned 21 during his senior year of high school

Kyshaun Bryan - Signed with Iowa, redshirted first year, left team days before 2018 season opener, attended Coffeyville CC in Kansas, status unclear

Alec Sinkfield - Redshirted first year at West Virginia, part of RB by committee from 2018-20, transferred to Boston College, part of RB rotation in 2021

Clevan Thomas - Moved to WR at Kentucky, was a reserve in 2017 & '18, started 7 games in '19 but didn't do much, relegated back to reserve in 2020, tore his ACL in 2021 spring practice

Mike Epstein - Signed with Illinois, started his career super hot in '17 before sustaining a stress fracture in his left foot, started the '18 season super hot again before aggravating the same prior injury, tore his ACL in the first game of the '19 season, battled injuries again in 2020, then started the 2021 season off hot before sustaining ANOTHER season ending injury.
