LOL at goofballs comparing him to Bucky Hodges. Look at their body types for christ's sake. Hodges looks like a tall WR. Jake ******** caught more passes? So what. He's another slow scrawny looking dude.

Njokeman is a matchup nightmare down the seams with his speed and explosive athletic ability. You realize how explosive he is athletically to be a competitive high jumper? This dude has only scratched the surface of what's to come.

Yet, despite Njoku being a genetic freak, he has similar production to Bucky. Shouldn't that be a glaring red flag? Never mind the fact that Bucky is used everywhere, he's versatile as ****. Njoku, despite his plus level athletic gifts runs maybe two routes, that is something that would cause a scouting department to ask why. He's a physical beast that gets by on his gifts, but still has a lot of rawness to his game. He fights the ball when he catches it, and that's an iffy proposition. Not the manhandler he should be in regards to blocking, in fact is significantly worse than Herndon, who isn't even close to Njoku physically. If you were to take Herndon's game and put it with Njoku's physical gifts, you'd have a first rounder.

Your boy Bucky doesn't stand a chance as a real TE in the NFL. He has more catches because he played WR most of the time and they threw the ball to him a lot. I think he's also been playing at VT longer than Njoku. At one point because of injuries to their receivers last year your boy Bucky was pretty much their only option in the throw game.

This guy's argument is that Njoku is overrated because he has the same exact production as Bucky Hodges, yet still barely knows how tonplay football. Convincing stuff.

It's a horrible argument especially considering his guy Bucky was a glorified WR who has been targeted a lot more during his career. Awful comparison.

Looking at his high school highlights we could all see the guy was a monster athlete. Rightfully, Canes questioned the level of competition in some of his HS highlights, but again his athleticism was clearly off the charts. I think that he will destroy the combine and be off the boards in the first three rounds.

Commentators like to make the cliche statement about being too big for CBs and too fast for LBs. David actually fits the cliche. Another Cane that will be missed, and I hope by some miracle he ends up on my Raiders squad and away from the Patriots. Good luck to him.

He should get the NFL draft advisory board opinion and then make a decision, which is likely what he'll do. If not a lock for first 2 rounds, he should come back.

He will be a late 2nd round/ early 3rd round pick. Wish he would come back for one more but go get that money

As long as we are wishing, I wish he'd come back for 2 more seasons.

Go when you're hott!! Ask Matt Leinart how coming back worked out. Get the $$$$!

if he's certain to go in the first two rounds, I say go for it. why risk injury when a $1 million signing bonus is there for the taking?

Emphasis on certain. I doubt he's a lock in that spot. I see him as being one of those "Lots of potential" types that start coming off the board in the third round. As someone that has eligibility remaining, why leave money on the table, especially in your first contract. Come back, ball out, and be a no doubt first rounder with all that comes with that status. Even if you don't work out in the NFL, at least you have first round money AND a degree in your pocket.

There are going to be a lot of teams that rate him highly and few that will completely dismiss him because there isn't much in-line with him. With that said, he is better than Bucky Hodges.

I hope he comes back. He dominates again next year and he's a top 10 pick ( just like Ebron)

He has had a great season considering he has two top receivers on his team in Coley and Richards. My guess is he does better next year when he and Richards are the top two receiving threats.

From what i seen he is now getting projected to go 2nd-3rd round. If that's the case cant blame him. Te dont go in the the first round lately so 2nd-3rd round grade is good.

Njoku is better than all of those guys and he has barely scratched the surface.

Howard is the best of the bunch.

how so..?? enlighten me?

Njoku had 2 tds last game....Howard has never had more than 2 in a season. Though a 4th year senior..and at bama he still isn't a big time blocker in the run game either.

Has been a starter since his true freshman year and is an excellent athlete with great hands. Bama doesn't throw to the TEs much so it's hard to evaluate him based on numbers. He's still managed to put up the same number of catches this year as Njoku and had similar production last year. Anyway, JMO.

Hope the phins take him.....they need a weapon like that

He would give them another dynamic receiving threat. I think Parker is ready to shine if he can stay healthy and Landry is a great possession receiver.
