I’m gonna reserve judgment until I see him actually play at this level. Calling the kid a JAG before he even steps foot on Greentree is as unfair as labeling Chaney the next legendary UM RB before he’s even been fitted for pads. I’m not getting too high or too low over any of these kids anymore. I thought Mallory, Lingard and Pope would be next level great by now and none have done anything going into there 3rd years. Reserve judgment until proven otherwise.

Didn't Chickillo win mvp at the under armour all star game with better talent in that game? Just saying
Chick is a NFL player man. I’ll take a possible nfl player all day. Plus I doubt that team had more talent than Duncanville.

It's the speed I'm concerned with it's real slow man worse then Shaq. I think he is going to struggle at this level because of it. I been wrong before I hope I am bruh...I just don't get also y they can take Flagg over Hyppolite to me it's super weird. If they know something I don't then **** they got Butch eyes. Even in that highlight clip he looks slow and at the end of the day it's HS man.
Honest question, brother: What stands out so much about Hype-olite other than a couple guys on here hyping him? Seems like all the major programs share our coaches’ evaluation of Hype-olite.

He’s definitely faster than Flagg, but what does he do better on the football field?

They’re basing their evaluation off of 40 times , that’s it. Hypolite is faster than flagg yet Flagg stays all over the field making stops. Literally where the ball is there’s Flagg.

I like hypolite but he’s nowhere at flaggs level by what they produce. That’s just facts.

He’s not as fast tho, bro!!!

I just think if he's coached up (which we both agree doesn't happen here) he would adjust to the game speed wise. Flag is better laterally but I think speed is such a question he may struggle especially with this staph. I just go by the intangibles.....everything says Flagg is better in HS. I think Shaq is slow but I don't think Flagg is even as fast as Shaq (game speed wise not time)

In the box Flagg is great on inside runs

My thing is I want us to be fast....slow could be our coaching as well. A mix of both coaching and recruiting

Isn’t the better comparison Hyppolite vs the empty scholarship we have because the staph chased Greene and Flowe all fall?

No. I’m not asking that so it’s not the better comparison for me. DWins keeps talking about Hype-olite like he’s Ray Lewis and claiming Flagg is already JAGG.

Is Hype-olite better than the whiff we took? Of course he is. So is about 400 other guys.

Calling Flagg a JAG before he even takes a snap in college is one of the dumbest takes i've seen on these boards, and that's saying an awful lot. Kudos for @Dwinstitles for his willingness to die on that anthill.

I live in Texas now after living in Florida for almost 30 years, and can tell you unequivocally that production at the highest level of football in TX is apples to apples to doing it in FL. I have no idea why A&M or UT didn't pursue him but Herman hasn't exactly been crushing it as of late and Jimbo only took 1 LB in his class this year after taking 5 last year.

What the detractors of Flagg fail to answer is why the double-standard? Hyppolite perhaps should have been recruited due to our numbers being low at LB but he also wasn't pursued by the other big Florida schools and wound up at Maryland. Maryland just finished 109th in total defense. 109th. Why is an 'athletic freak' and 'total baller' of a LB going to a program that is 109th in total defense? Just classic local homerism at its finest.
I'll die on that anthill bro fuq it I can't back down now lol. I hope the ants eat me and he's all ACC

I mean I have high expectations at Um I think I have to lower the bar but I'm too fixed that we have to be the best at everything. I was spoiled during the Butch years.
You were spoiled to be the best during the Booch years, yet Booch was never the best at anything. He put together the best roster but never was the best with it at anything.
