My favorite thing with Yearby is that he has the fluidity to go along with the 6th sense great running backs have. He anticipates blocks and the movement of defenders before they even happen. He just has that "feel" good backs have where they can set up their blockers and manipulate defenders at the second level to create what they want. He also has the cutting ability to match the information his brain is quickly processing. He doesn't lose speed when he's making the sharp cuts and his change of direction is deadly. This is a GREAT pick up for us.

Hey he wants to be a cane now thats it and thats all i want from my canes football players and commits if u want to be here then commit if not go some where else []_[]

If this kid succeeds here it'll be in large part to his tremendous vision. Easily what I came away most impressed with from his highlights.

Taking a prospect committed to FSU just makes it all the better.

Not a huge Yearby fan but glad to have a Miami kid commit early.

I don't get it. How can you watch this kids film and not see a great player. Or "not be a fan"??? give me a break. Kids that want to be canes. That is what I'm a fan of. Welcome to the U Mr. Yearby. Dam glad....DAM GLAD TO HAVE YOU!!

Call me crazy, but I may like Yearby better. His vision is unreal along with his quick *** feet. I don't see why everyone is quick to shoot him down, he is just as fast as cook, and NEVER misses a hole. Cook may be a game changer as soon as touches the ball, but Yearby is a true back

He just said in a rivals interview that it would be awesome for Miami to land 3 backs in this class. He would love to play in the same backfield with Sony and Cook. This would be crazy!!! I think Yearby and Darling are going to be in Cook's ear non stop. I just have a feeling that Cook will be a Cane.

I bet you there are some mopes on this site that wouldn't like this because they would be worried we would lose some 2015 kid. Kid wants to compete, sounds good.

Also, our o-line looks to be in good shape for years to come. Of course all decent backs are good behind a good line, but I feel like Yearby is the type of back that thrives behind a good oline and really takes advantage of what he is given.

As we know Central is in the burbs, gotta hit the intercity for recruits.

I just don't get the mindset that we should be weary of bringing on an elite kid because it might impact another elite kid who runs the 40 1/10th of a second faster. Yearby is a got **** stud. He looks much more natural than Cook. His coach, who many on here wanted to bring on our staff, thinks enough of the guy to put him ahead of Superman Cook. He just compared Yearby to Frank Gore. I am absolutely stoked at the commitment. And as we know, a decommitment-commitment is about as strong as it gets. Rarely do those kids go back. You Cook lovers need to chill.

I agree with everything you said dy. This kid is flat out elite!
