Umm, I think you're mistaken the QB almost never makes the line calls. IIRC another article mentioned why he wasn't making the calls.
...What do you think Joe Burrow was doing when we showed blitz?

1) changed the play

2) Changed the protection

I also want to see that article because if true CMR must never call any kind of play ever again. That makes no sense whatsoever...how’s he supposed to change it if they show blitz or overload to one side? Is he going to jump in the air like a ***king idiot to get his attention?

“I talked to the team and told them that we still have a whole ACC Championship to play for said:
Clemson probably in the ACC Championship[/B], so we got great teams to look forward to. We can’t let this one loss versus LSU just drag throughout the whole season.”

Love that this moron, after his performance last week, thinks we will "probably" win the coastal. We should win the coastal, but treating it as a probability is half of the problem. This halfwit bought his own bs from last season, and as if his pathetic performance on Sunday was not bad enough, his smart *** interview yesterday finished it off. Need this guy out of here already.

Those Savannah State blitzes are gonna provide a tough test. I expect to see much improvement this week.

That’s not necessarily true. If the inaccuracy is due to simple mechanics you can fix it but if it’s because you just don’t have the touch then it doesn’t matter.
Mechanics have to be taught when you are young. Otherwise your muscle memory develops and you tend to regress during stressful situations. Malik was more accurate in practices wearing the black jersey. Put him in front of National TV against LSU and he regressed to his old muscle memory innacurate footwork and reads.

This ALL falls on Rick. Year 3 of his regime and this is our best option at QB?

We just need to tamp down our expectations for the year. Malik will not improve, he’s reached his ceiling (old point). His replacement, if it happens, will be ill prepared to take the helm (coaching deficiency). Also, Feagles is a choker. Baxa is Baxa, that cow ain’t milking. Here’s to 2019.

Glad to see him take ownership of his errors. Acceptance is the first step in any process trying to change your ways. Hoping the kid gets it together. We will only go as far as Rosier goes. This is our reality.
Dude he’s beyond any steps to repairing his image for us

No, It’s the option he’s chosen because he doesn’t want to limit his offense since Malweak supposedly knows the offense the best. The other options would supposedly force him to play to their strengths instead of what he thinks is best.

Here’s the thing - Does it really matter how much of the playbook you know if you can’t even put the ball in the spot it needs to be placed? The answer is no.

I know you’re providing sarcasm, but I did warn about LSU and got a visit from the proctologists here. I am now sounding a warning about the next three opponents who have nothing to lose by going all out in their games against this mismanaged bunch. They will study the last four losses and are going to be salivating next three games.

Staring Malik against Savannah St. will show us nothing and do nothing for us. Can he light them up? Yeah, of course he can. Gus Edwards ran for 100+ against FL A&M two years ago. OOC cupcakes = glorified practices.

The young QBs stand to gain more from getting actual game reps

I honestly feel bad for the kid. It's not his fault that he sucks and that his position coach is incapable of improving his game. He's just not a Power 5 QB and shouldn't be starting here, yet Richt hitched his wagon to him already and won't admit that he made a mistake...so here we are.

One loss does not define a season with 11 games still to be played, and Rosier is playing a role in keeping the team’s spirits up as they head for a Coastal Division title.

“I talked to the team and told them that we still have a whole ACC Championship to play for,” Rosier said.
***** it’s 4 losses in a Row because of his *****@ssness!!!! If not for the turnovers by our D, last year would’ve been a disaster! Fock him!!! Neeeeext!!!!!!!

The issue I have with Rosier is not him personally, it is that mechanically he is not very good. Accuracy is IMO cannot be taught. It is instinctual, as is pocket presence.

I agree he lacks anticipation and his targeting system is off. Then when you add in his poor mechanics to even get the ball into the catch radius of his WRs it’s a problem. When you overthrow 6’3, 6’4 WRs consistently that is a huge problem.

"It’s one bad game and we still have 13, 14 more. I don’t plan on letting that happen again.”... But it's not one bad game it's 4 in a row. First one cost us an undefeated regular season and the #2 ranking. Im sick and tired of the excuses.
Everyone is and the sad part is that he’s not even the best QB on roster. CMR is playing him because he wants too.

Really. Concerned about Sav St. blitzes. Our 3rd team and walk ons should be able to crush them.

I feel bad for him. Got lucky against a **** schedule last season and built up expectations. The last 4 games are the reality. He's not getting better. He's not correcting anything. It's done.

Got lucky against a $hitty schedule?? LMAO. Our schedule was ALOT harder last year.

So WTF do you call this years schedule???? We play ONE ranked team as its stands now. ONE. And you got folks on here saying we will barely win 9 games. Smh.

Watch the score be 3-0 in the first quarter with malik getting all the snaps.

Seriously though, the one bad game comment drives me crazy. Last 4 games have been absolutely dreadful. Hes gonna act like they dont count. Any other major program would not stand for this kind of play at QB. When is Richt gonna get it through his thick head that teams have figured malik andd this offense out. No amount of practice is going to help until we change the offense or change the QB. Probably need to change both

Coach [Thomas] Brown said it perfect, ‘If there was no one in the stadium and we were going against our scouts, every blitz that they brought, we should have picked up everything they did.’

NO! People who never played interior line or coached picking up blitzes might bite on that. But look at our guard's heads, hands, and body positions while people were running right smack by them. **** LSU had so much success, they just kept doing it more and more the 2nd half.

No hand checks to help, not even a slight turn of the head to see if inside help was needed it; instead our gurads had blinders on looking for someone on a loop stunt coming to their gap that seldom did. Too many blown assignments and unabated entry into the backfield for this not to be a unit wide issue.

Notice the difference when our D looped and LSU's interior O-linemen immediately ingaged ir went to the 2nd and 3rd levels creating a hole big enough for a 58-foot Hatteras to go through? You have to see the game and have spatial awareness as an O-lineman also.

And, Oh by the way! Miami's "scouts" aren't LSU's starting front 7 - who were recruited to survive in the SEC at positions LSU became known for, way back when Saban was still corching there. That worried me when I first saw them on the schedule.

If its 3-0 after the first quarter I wont be calling for Maliks head..I will be calling for Richt and Thomas Browns head. They are the ones who are in charge of yanking his a$$ out of the game.
