I think nothing changes much with starters... But I do think Trob will have more of a say so as to pulling players who's not performing well during games. That's what he said in his very first interview that he will and he has no problem with it. We'll see tho. I really don't think he came here just to be a yes-man but I'm also not expecting every single player to get action like some might think.

What if Hall playing means Williams and Williams are not playing 🤔?
It’s enough snaps for them to play. And this is predicated on t-rob getting the best out of hall. Avantae probably isn’t ready yet to start anyway

He ain’t playing much this year bruh, yall can go full denial mode if you want, but yall clearly not paying attention to how things go at Miami...

That boy ain’t gonna get the reps, he’ll be a 3rd/4th teamer & play Special teams at the most.
Probably had a better chance if he could've came for spring....still wouldn't have expected much tho. My expectations will stay low until Manny show me otherwise.

Lol man that's why I say Carter is being selfish not moving to LB. Dude just in the way.

Btw, I know we all want to see jwill but y'all sleep on Kinchens. Dude got a head start already being there and getting praise for how smart he is. One thing that Manny has shown is that he loves guys who know the playbook inside out. Why y'all think Carter will always be in the mix? Dude one of the smartest cats on the team.... He's just hella trash as a DB lol

As much as it pains me to admit it, I could live with Carter 3rd in the Safety rotation. Not my preference at all - would much rather have one of the Freshmen running 3rd but fine. But I draw the line there at Safety.

If I start hearing about Ivey 'making huge strides and emerging as a starter' or 'Jennings is taking on a leadership role as starting MLB' or 'McCloud is leading the DE unit with his leadership' then I have a serious problem. All three aforementioned players are solid backups - nothing more.

I hope yall weren’t under the illusion the Secondary was going to have a massive makeover lol

I told yall already, the Secondary will remain the exact same, except Tyrique will replace Al Jr & Tae Williams will be the 2nd team/4th Safety in rotation...

We’re living & dying with Bolden, Hall & Carter; whenever a coach says “these guys have played a lot of Football”, that means experience over everything. Quality of play doesn’t matter, simply number of games is the barometer.

Like I said in the other thread a couple days ago, if you thought James Williams was coming in & playing right away, ain’t happening, he’ll play 4 games on ST’s & Redshirt.

Ivey will start at Boundary, prepare yourselves for it.
Same goes for the LBs.Flagg and Jennings are by far the staffs top LBs with Brooks the 3rd guy if he can heal his toe.Our only hope is if they can land a top portal LB and keep Jennings as a backup.

Bruh this HC is st8 garbo dog......I hate reading this **** but never had a doubt. 15-0 tho

We like 5 months away from our opener and y’all already got the 3 deep written in ink? Lol with all the psychics we have on this board, I need 1 of y’all to slide me the upcoming winning lottery numbers.

For real though, everyone wanted T-Rob to come here and now he’s just another coach that knows less than the CIS mob when it comes to who he should and shouldn’t play.

Yes because @Liberty City El is right whenever a coach starts with that he’s played in so many games garbage it’s wrap. It doesn’t matter what happens in practice.

Coaches are conservative. If a guy can give them a 7 consistently, they’ll take it over a freshman that will give them a 10 sometimes and a 5 other times because he got confused on the play.

So frustrating to see we continue to play a guy that has more targeting calls than picks and the other consistently take bad angles and show limited physicality especially when some here thought he could be the next ST. What happened to the guy in high school that made Saban land a chopper in the parking lot?!?!

What a joke. And we wonder why top players don’t sign here. All other teams have to do is say, so you wanna redshirt and sit behind an older guy no matter what, or do you wanna come here and actually have a chance to play.

They don’t even have to mention our record and inability to win the weakest division in CFB.

When they mentioned older seniors or juniors in interviews (since this coaching staph been here) it means them boys playing. They use the they don't know the playbook sauce then G15 accidentally gets in the game and we ask why was he on the bench?
