For the last time I'm not comparing them as QB's ... im comparing the fact that they both had ****** junior years in high school and both came off extremely hyped.... and they both committed to us... its human nature to go back to the last hyped QB we had who had ****** years... same goes for Allison if I recall he didn't have good stats either I'm high school..

Gray crow was a low three star qb that's only hype ever came as a sophmore in high school at a us army camp... the better prospect we signed that year who was a flop also was the kid that deter coached. Preston Dewey if I remember correctly. He wasn't real highly rated either. My concern with Artur is this,his own teammates have gave him the nickname ****kowski. For as much legit hype he gets their is also plenty of concerns. Personally I like the kid though. My only thing with him is he really needs to loosen up & get his parents to relax. They put far too much pressure on him & he feels it clearly.

With this ****kowski nickname, any concern he might affect our recruiting at WR? Does you nephew like him?

He doesn't help or hurt any of our position recruiting. What actually hurt us a lil was we had been holding out with the belief Casey Thompson would pick us as well. He is very well liked & has a ton of upside. Far as artur his main thing needs to be turning potential into reality. He's gotta speed up his reads & just relax. The kid has been coached up like crazy to this point. He's very smart. But he's NEVER competed at a high level. We all just gotta see how he responds to that. He's crazy competitive but how will he respond in the face of all the talent he'll be seeing now. I think we'll be alright.

I always thought the staff was pretty high on Casey, that kid is going to be a baller at Texas.

Incredibly productive player against high caliber comp in Okla, he comes from good stock, his pops is Charles Thompson.

I know he impressed them at Paradise last year with the way he competed in the Drills & the Scrimmage.

Plenty of times & has just as much upside. High four star kid. Don't think we will now though unless he flips.

Their coach is going with he was hurt BS.

IMG coach Kevin Wright said he took Sitkowski out due to a deep shoulder bruise.

“He got hit high, in the shoulder area,” Wright said. “It’s nothing serious — but serious enough that I didn’t want to risk him getting hurt anymore.”

Dude should be called Sit Down Ski from now on.

I never try to rip recruits, but I never got this pickup. He's not Miami caliber , he's been at two schools now and has never looked the part.

Hopefully Richt moves on from this kid. There's much better options out there.

If he rides the bench the rest of the season it will be interesting to see if that changes things. The cat that replaced him wasn't all that great and the coach looks like he's using some chump injury as an excuse.

realize it's a little late in the recruiting season for QB's, but we really should just go after the best south florida QB and let sits find his way somewhere else.

If there is any reason to make an excuse for a QB in high school, it usually doesn't turn out too well. Hopefully this is one of the exceptions.

So, if we give up on Sitz, who is honestly available? The truth is that we need Rosier to play well and return as a senior so that Perry can have a year as the actual back up. Then with the '19 guy [forgot his name] we are in a typical QB pattern..............

this is the frustrating part of this. Richt's dogged determination to have Sits as "his guy" is going to cost him getting a good QB this cycle. It's unfortunate because with Roser at the helm this year, I think this offense can be dynamic.

And, it's clear that Sits is not popular with his IMG teammates as evidenced by bkln's cryptic post.
 
As long as we get a true top-ten QB in the 2019 class, we can get by with a "looks like Tarzan-currently plays like Jane" prospect like Sitz in the 2018 class. In theory Perry will be our QB to bridge to the next great prospect anyway.
 
No reason to be worried IMO. Sits has always been a development guy. He wouldn't play anyway for at least 2 or 3 years which will give him plenty of time to develop in a good QB.

Perry is going to start after this season and will remain the starter for at least 2 - 3 years. Barring injury, there is no reason Sits would need to play anyway. Next year Richt will get another QB that will also be elite so we are fine this position in my opinion.
