Bro, no one is expecting him to come in and tear it up Dan Sileo-style, but RBs over a season do get banged up, so the third back will need to be counted on for games. Now, he's been a faqqit holding on to the ball so far, so its frightening to think that he is the only option as a 3rd guy.
 
Burns will never play a down at Miami.

You said you're scared because we don't know what we have with our third string RB Gray. Well, pretty much no one knows what they'll get with their third string RB. So we're all in the same boat.

How many fumbles does Gray have? I hear people talking about him fumbling all the time, but I don't know how many he has.

Should we have signed the guy who wound up at Tarlton State? You don't add bums just to have more numbers. We have a 4 star freshmans who everyone wanted waiting in the wings as an emergency RB in case Walton, Homer and Gray go down.

I don't necessarily think that we should sign bums, but there were some fairly productive players in SF we passed on. We put all of our eggs on McFarley out in Maryland. And Burns, who hasn't played in 2 years.

I don't remember any UM quality RBs being available after McFartland screwed us at the last second. It's easy to say we never should have put our eggs in the McFartland basket, but they felt like they knew him.

Any of the last minute guys who were available weren't going to be any better than the emergency 4th stringer Deejay Dallas. We'd have to suffer horrible bad luck to wind up getting down to a 5th RB.

Completely agree with this.
I'm even going to take it further and say that I'd also rather move another WR to RB if we absolutely need it than take one of those crappy RBs that were on the Transfer market.

If somehow Walton, Homer, And Gray all got injured, and Burns still hadn't gotten healthy, then I'd rather have Deejay be the starting RB, and have Jeff Thomas be the backup RB. Thomas can be a college RB without a doubt Imo.

Regardless, this isn't going to happen. And using scholarships on below average players because you fear your top 4 RBs will all get hurt is straight weak Imo.
 
SIAP, what was his surgery for? Separation? dislocation? Labrum?

in 2016 homer got 7 last year
In 2015 we didn't have a 4th string running back..... trayone gray got 26 carries
In 2014 Trayone grade(4th string running back) got 6 carries
In 2013 Eduardo Clements(4th string running back) got 30 carries.

Qu*t worrying about dumbsh*t that's not a big deal, we are not going to have a bad season all because of this issue.... a 4th string running back is not going to make or break the success of a team period....

Homer is a very talented back and deejay dallas is a playmaker in his own right too

Homer and Dallas have a combined 0 carries in college football. In fact our #2 , #3 , #4 , and #5 RB options have 29 combined carries (all gray). Burns and Gray probably have 29 combined injuries. But who's worried?

People love to overreact here. Tyrone Grey is our 3rd string RB. He'd start at probably 75+ other D1 schools. Calm down.

Never should have played Edwards over Yearby, as Edwards was threatening to leave and did. Yearby would still be here and there would not be such a lack of depth.
