Rosier kinda fast as runner. I wouldn't mind rpo with him for games 1-3. Then toss Perry the Keys at the bye week. Rosier can beat FSU with Walton and our weapons

If Rosier can beat noles, just go with him for the year. Who else is there after them.

That's obvious though and everyone missed the point. I'm assuming that he doesn't. I said he can beat them.....if he did common sense says he would be the starter the rest of the year. If he doesn't pull him and let Perry start getting 1st team reps around the bye.

That's all I said. Ni66as wanna take it a different way.
We took it the way you wrote it. If everyone understands it one way then maybe it was you who messed up.

Did he say how Rosier and Sherrifs looked?

No, I added everything he said about QBs

Being cryptic. Perhaps Richt has already made up his mind on the QB situation having seen all spring what he had in the others, and seeing Perry in 7-on-7's.

Or perhaps nobody asked him a question about the others as would be expected with press like SDM.

He was only asked about Perry in the interview FWIW

It won't be on Perry to win the FSU game anyway...it'll be on a running game and the front seven defense. As long as he's coming along nicely, you let him start Week 1. When you start a freshman QB, you take the lumps that come with it. Risk aversion is for losers.

Rosier has proven he can win a game against a good opponent. He has had a year to digest what Richt wants. Unless you are really desperate you dont start a true freshman at QB. Perry needs some time to get to a comfort level . You don't want him getting hurt or losing confidence because he was thrown in there too early.Had Perry come in the Spring he may have had a better chance to play early but that didnt happen.

Well I'm quick to admit when I mess some s*** up so my bad if y'all ain't understand me.

I want the best man to start for THIS YEAR. That can win the most games in 2017. I believe that it's Kosi. But I believe that with the surrounding talent on the team that whoever wins that job is in a position to feed Walton, Herndon, Irvin, Richards, Thomas, Harley, Mullins, Berrios, and Cager. I believe that Kosi and Rosier (For the moment until we see live games) can win the same amount of games. I feel Kosi is more accurate but haven't seen him play on the collegiate level.

That's my take.

Yes, that's exactly it. Richt has made up his mind but want's to build suspense and excitement by pretending to care that he's only seen Perry practice for 12 minutes. He's gonna keep on with his story about Perry needing to "learn the concepts", but we all know the truth. Don't know why you said he's being cryptic, I think it's all pretty clear.

You can't keep your QB in bubble wrap hoping he doesn't get injured...also, if he "loses confidence" then he was never the guy to begin with and its better you know that sooner rather then later.

Let him play and see what you've got...if he's the man, he'll eat those road bumps in stride and figure it out...then 2018 will be a fruitful year.

Exactly.

It's only logical that his mind is made up after a half dozen throws in his first ever college practice. Rick is a master tactician, and we have some very astute porsters that realize he's being "cryptic" - but us really smart porsters know he's already made up his mind

"Letting the guys compete" is for those too weak willed to make a decision.

My buddy who has college coaching experience and head coaching at various levels watched his HS tape and gave me this breakdown of Perry:

Just watched.
Pros: super athletic, very strong arm, accurate on deep ball, and solid footwork for a hs guy.
Cons: will struggle early to read coverages. The way his offense was set up was a lot of what I call amateur reads. They create vertical 2 on 1 stretches and simply ask him to throw to the more open guy. There wasn't very much identifying coverage, look one way and the. Go through progression 1,2,3. Etc.
Needs to protect the ball much better.

You stand zero chance of beating FSU by going in a shell offensively and attempting to ride the run game with no credible throw game. Like you said, risk aversion is for losers. That applies to going into a shell offensively too. If he can't run the offense, then he shouldn't be out there.

Pros: Is already the greatest QB to ever play the game
Cons: Is allergic to roses.

You had a few typos, I went ahead and cleaned them up.

i think you use the same formula dallas cowboys used with dak punishing run game, opens up alot of play action and rpo, perry will fit in great.

Proven? wtf? he won one game against Duke, a lesser opponent that only challenged us because our coaches and scheme sucked. Duke is not a worthy opponent that should be cited to prove a QB's competency. he played well, but it was DUKE.

i'm not in favor of one QB over another right now, but Rosier is not a good option, in fact none of them are.

Reading comprehension, deductive reasoning, and sarcasm are not on display with some poRster's on here.
