If the kid is a lock to UM, why are we still flying across country for in home visits?

I'm not being a **** I just don't understand the process. Shouldn't we be spending those resources on kids we're still hoping to lure in?

Or is there a threat with DJ to still flip?

All that effort just for me? You sure know how to make a guy feel special.

Bartow has him flipping to Washington. It was a recent call too. This is the only thing that makes me nervous.
All of that was dispelled already. The Washington 247 reporter has already said dj Johnson told their football staff he is solid to miami. Plus when Bartow crystal balled him dj Johnson came out and said that they were crazy. Pete reported on this already too. 247 crystal ball works like this you can't crystal a recruit to the same school if they are already committed.

Treating your commits like they don't matter after they commit is how they get flipped.

This. Common sense isn't so common.

Some of you shouldn't follow recruiting. Y'all mad our coaches is visiting our top recruit for an in home visit which is by the way Richts ONLY in home visit with the family and kool hasn't been out there since December... chill out... quit being so **** pessimistic

Who said anything about being mad?

What the fück do we have a forum for if we can't ask question?
Broke gets emotional when the other posters don't act as tough as he wants them to act. He demands that we all assume every commit is unflippable.

Brock gets mad when we don't trust the info he brings from other peoples minds.

Didnt say anything about him flipping on joe rose show. Said he loved miami d-line class.

Pete, serious question. Is all this just part of recruiting? Why don't players who are "all in" tell the coaches to use their time landing players who are on the fence? I think the coaches would appreciate a HS senior and future player telling the coaches not to waste their time, that they are 100% and don't worry.

I understand this is the kids' time to shine and they enjoy the attention. I don't slight them for that. Just wondering.

Thanks.

Lol at one of these posts getting negged 23 times and the other repped 5 times even though they ask the same question.

Treating your commits like they don't matter after they commit is how they get flipped.

Daily phone calls, FaceTime whatever is not treating them like they don't matter. We're like 2 weeks out and this kid has been a lock for a while now.

I just don't see the point like another poster said. The kid should tell the staff to go after guys that are still on the fence.

There is a reason why you are a porster on this board and Richt/Kool are college football coaches

In home for the parents IMO. They haven't been all in, but felt better after the official. This is Richt sealing the deal with them.

Looking to book a hotel room this weekend in Lauderdale. Any deals available ?

Makes sense. Thank you for actually providing a reasonable input.

And why not check out other prospects on the West Coast while they're at it as well. Shore up a commitment and visit legit prospects in a talent-rich state sounds like a good way to spend your resources.

They are visiting other kids, no doubt. I did a recruiting trip with Mark Richt and staff back in 05 a couple of weeks before their Sugar bowl loss. Started and ended in Athens, for three days we flew two to three legs per day. Not a second was wasted because they plan breakfast, lunch and dinner with different kids in multiple cities. Our travels took us to West Coast and back probably visiting 8 or 9 cities. Finally, landed in Athens around 2am on the day 3. Everybody was exhausted!

Or tries to attack posters as if he's not usually the one asking stupid cvnt questions 90% of the time.
