Some of you shouldn't follow recruiting. Y'all mad our coaches is visiting our top recruit for an in home visit which is by the way Richts ONLY in home visit with the family and kool hasn't been out there since December... chill out... quit being so **** pessimistic

Who said anything about being mad?

What the fück do we have a forum for if we can't ask question?
Broke gets emotional when the other posters don't act as tough as he wants them to act. He demands that we all assume every commit is unflippable.

Why are you asking if he's flipping when I posted he had told Washington coaches he was solid with Miami after his vist and shutting everything down after his visit just the other day? Why are you asking dumb questions about why we are having an in home visit with our top recruit on the other side of the country?

That was asked before you posted anything. And like franchise said, I'm not trusting what some jerkoff machine blogger writes.

They get that **** wrong all the time.
I posted it in the other dj Johnson thread

If the kid is a lock to UM, why are we still flying across country for in home visits?

I'm not being a **** I just don't understand the process. Shouldn't we be spending those resources on kids we're still hoping to lure in?

Or is there a threat with DJ to still flip?
there is a limit on how many in homes with each prospect hc can do. maybe this is the one inhome richt can use. if he doesn't use it with dj its not like he can add it to another player.

Any kid can flip at any time.

Nothing is 100% until they sign on the line that is dotted.

Especially one of the best recruits in the nation, that lives over 3,000 miles away, whose parents had stated they wanted him closer to home in the past, and who has a playoff school in his backyard that has been hot after him.

I would be way more concerned if the head coach DID NOT have an in home visit with him around this time.

Yeah head coaches only can have 1 in home visit per recruit for the entire cycle unless they are an early enrollee and signed a grant aid agreement

I can see that. A lot of machismo coming from his camp right now.

UM is no position to assume any recruit is a lock until they have signed their LOI and on campus.

Recruit to the very end!

Ok my bad. Next time a new thread is posted about a recruit I won't comment before reading all the other threads about said recruit.

Does anyone know if they're visiting other recruits (2018, 2019) while they're out in CA? Or maybe they're making a stop-off at another destination on their return trip?

I'm in the middle between brock and Franchise. I think DJ's solid and isn't going anywhere. But in today's age of recruiting, you just don't assume that a kid that holds a scholly offer from every single power 5 school in the country and is one of the best players in the country is going to stick and you don't "waste" your time in recruiting him. Always go in with the assumption that every kid is flippable. It's clearly how Richt has always approached recruiting. He didn't'/won't get left at the altar and go sign a kid that would only be a take at FIU/FAU.

Better to go overboard and commit more time than you needed to with a blue-chip then not pay enough attention and then play the what if game later on.

And then defends them if they do flip.

Treating your commits like they don't matter after they commit is how they get flipped.

Daily phone calls, FaceTime whatever is not treating them like they don't matter. We're like 2 weeks out and this kid has been a lock for a while now.

I just don't see the point like another poster said. The kid should tell the staff to go after guys that are still on the fence.

Ask Al Golden how that worked out.

Bartow has him flipping to Washington. It was a recent call too. This is the only thing that makes me nervous.
