He doesn't look that fast on film but then you see his timed speed and clips like that ^. Regardless he's got a college body already, he's strong and can highpoint the ball. Probably projects to be a Hurns type.

Deceptive speed like Antonio Brown. Brown can run 80% and win his match ups...lull them to sleep, turn on the jets and burn them for 6. Not saying he's Antonio Brown but I think he could learn to incorporate aspects into his game.

fuqin Stubbs the silent assassin lol, i feel like he goes recruiting with a fake mustache and glasses disguise and str8 murderin dudes. Straight stole Dugins donk did donuts and wasted his tires and left his **** parked at a walmart parking lot.

So like pork is the new white meat, “Stubbs - it’s the new Hartley”???

Appears to be a smart young man. Miami, Purdue and ND. I’m sure FSU and others won’t give up and this will probably be a fight til the end to keep him.

As many have said, the season success will determine a top 10 class or lower ranking due to a sub-par year...

Some guys are brought in for recruiting acumen and aren’t as good at teaching technique. Some are more yellers and motivators.

Stubbs appears to be all about the details.

Ok. We will see. Obviously a Homerun hire is a coach that teaches technique and is a killer on the recruiting trail. Like Enos seems to be so far.

I like that he wants a technical coach. Good self-awareness.

He is a wild horse right now but his upside is through the roof. Just needs some refining to get more efficient.

I agree. I mentioned it in the Worsham thread that having a coach who stresses technique helps for identifying the right recruits and selling them. When you look at some of the top rated WRs from recent years like Cooper, Jeudy and Calvin Ridley they are all guys who win in the "small game" with technique and movement skills. This should be the primary archetype of WR that Miami recruits and builds offense for.

4.5 is plenty fast enough gentleman. There isn't many 4.3 kids coming out of high school a very slimmmmm number. Idk where the misconception came from that there are just 4.3 guys everywhere just isn't the truth at all.

4.5 in high school will be low 4.4 in college after a few years

Yeah hes already at 4.50 now at 6’1 194 with a 41 inch vertical. The fact that he has a great 40 time already and his vertical is that high says he can drop his 40 time entering a college program. This is one of the guys I wanted Miami to make some headway with due to combination of size and speed and we did

Credit................he is thinking way ahead on academics that he can use if the League does not pan out....
That U of M degree, will look a **** of a lot better than others, and his work ethic from the interview is impeccable..........
We need more dawgs like this.......
great catch, now Coach Stubbs just need to cross the finish line with the LOI....

Not trying to be a smart *** but what other type of coach is there? I mean teaching proper technique is a must for a coach.

There's a bunch of things.
When it comes to technical aspect, there is a lot, every step in a route matters, and there's a difference in showing it (i.e., Dugans) and teaching it and explaining how its done and why you do it. Often time you'll see a former QB and QB coach as a WR coach, and he shows where the route stops and what to see in a defense, etc. for option route and more or less just learn the schemes.
Stubbs seems like a student of the game, which seems like the remainder of the coaching staff.

What's interesting about the quote from Redding III, is that means he's a professional football player (at least in his mind and how he approaches it) and that is his goal and he has a workmanlike attitude. It certainly seems as though that is the culture that Diaz is building and he surrounded himself with like-minded coaches that are of the same mind-set, which thus far, as least from snippets of quotes, Coach Enos, Barry, Baker, Diaz and now Stubbs are all those types. Guys who love the game and all the nuances involved.

Love, just love his mentality.

Again, I’m not saying Manny gotta gotta go undefeated this season, but w/ our talent level coupled w this schedule, we gotta win at least 10 this yr w a bowl victory

All this talk about TNM gotta be shown. Right now kids are hyped about our msg...we gotta prove that msg to be more than talk, and once we do, we’ll continue to get kids like this.
