Yeah I think the issue was he had an offer when Stoops was there but he doesn't fit Pruitt's scheme. Most rational FSU fans like him as a player but not so much in their scheme. Hopefully having another big school commit from SoFla will help sway some other local guys
 
This is what you want to hear from "Miami" kids, be close to family and play with guys you grew up with! You can't impact "your" community from Jortsville or Trailorhassee. You always can tell the self absorbed, craving attention types because they commit to those outsiders who coddle and promise them success without sacrifice. No more needed from this kid than what he said. Its all about the U not YOU!

Exciting, this is an important get if for nothing else than to smooth over some of the BTW/Miami drama
 
I, for one, am very excited about this kid committing to the U. I think some fans are underestimating his abilities. The kid can flat out play and, in my opinion, will be a very good player once our coaching staff works with him. It's all about the U!!!

The only one I can think of is Demarcus Christmas, but it would be dumb to suggest him because he's a pretty hard FSU commit...

I was thinking he said we need another defensive coordinator(DC). I agree with that if our defense doesn't show improvement.

The impact this could have on Thomas is beyond significant. If D. Jackson sticks with his commitment, having 2 teammates committed and in Chad's ear is huge.
