i like the freshman WRs that golden has brought in. i think its a solid group that willl be a great building block for the next 4 to 5 seasons

Agreed. And McDonald is the best position coach on staff so I see them developing to their potential

We have a ton of potential at wr and with AJL coming in that position looks good. Some keep talking about defense for AJL but he will play wr at miami. In last years all star game he was the most impressive wr there.

I agree 100% with AJL at wr...read a few posts from people saying he needed to go to defense...kid balls out at WR

Would've maybe been more interdasting to make this comparison between Waters and Kermit, since they are more dissimilar...but I'm also loving Waters' potential, hoping he 'shirts this year.

I had the pleasure of working with Waters at a camp. You guys will love this kid. I think his skills are about average for a UM WR historically, but the kid WANTS IT. Tons of heart, work ethic, and as Peter mentioned, he's very fluid and athletic.

He's the kind of kid who makes other kids better. He will be a vocal leader. And he can jaw with anyone. He's a nice kid that is always smiling and talking, but goes hard every play and demands a lot of himself.

I'm a fan. Hope he has a great career.

Peter, what about their hands?

Also, who has the ability to catch the ball in traffic?

Some time ago, in a place where the Miami Hurricanes were a good football team, someone like Herb Waters would be an ideal RS candidate.

Lol great point

I could see Waters shirting this year. Scott, Dorsett, Hurns, Malcom Lewis, Lockhart, Crawford, Thompkins will all be our 'active' WRs this season IMO. I could see Waters getting that redshirt this season.

Ya'll need to stop sleeping on my boy Jontavious Carter.

A man with the name Herb is a man that I can trust.
