So does the inclusion of Cook in this "Cane Commit" pro comparison series mean you are convinced he will flip Tito?

Dalvin Cook is a freakin stud!! He's from Miami, plays at Central, his brother will be playing ball for THE U..he has to be a CANE!!!! Make the switch young fella and help lead the hometown team back to prominence! :neonu:

I like the comparison of cook to cj spiller... Spiller may have alittle better straight line speed but i think very similar players.

i agree with the spiller and cook comparison. and i don't like the bradshaw comparison for yearby, bradshaw is a thick dude and runs angry. he seeks out contact despite being a smaleler (relatively) back. i would have gone warrick dunn there for yearby. nice wrietup either way.

Its tough to compare a high school kid to an NFL vet because there's so much maturity, weight, strength etc.added to the mix between then but if you go back to Bradshaws college/high school stuff its a pretty good comparison. Yeah now Bradshaw runs like a beast so its tough to envision Yearby that way.

I dunno. I suck at these comparison things. Yearby is good. Cook is good. They run like other good running backs.

That's all I got.

Yearby is more of a shifty, sees the hole well, make you miss kinda runner. Needless to say college will be an adjustment for both as they won't be running up and down the field on Saturdays. This is no way a knock on Cook, but what I like best about Yearby is his ability to make defenders miss in a box. Every great RB has a special asset and I believe vision and elusiveness is his special traits. Size to me doesnt matter because reality is, there are pleanty of examples of small backs having huge success. In fact more examples that there are of big back success.
