Miami seemed to get a little lazy late in the second half. FAMU's cheap shot on Berrios seemed to reset the tone. No reason not to run up the score.

We won 70-3 and richt went for a 4th down in 3rd quarter up 70-3

How much more can you score? lol

Easily the loudest 'cupcake' game I've been at.

Also the most complete deconstruction of another non-potato (i.e., fake FCS or lower division) team that I've witnessed, and it all started with the D-line. 'What year is it', indeed.

Wonder if AG watched the game...Dorito probably cannot afford cable or internet

That fat ******* can definitely afford cable with all the cash he stole from us, while pretending to be a competent DC!

That wasn't a cheap shot and shouldn't have been a penalty in my opinion.

He called a fair catch and got smashed. That's a penalty at bare minimum.

There was a roughing penalty - Berrios called for a fair catch. The targeting call was debatable. The FAMU defender lead with his head but I don't know how you tackle otherwise. Error on the side of safety.

The FAMU defender also taunted and strutted afterwards.

F-HIM.

im a little worried about the secondary, colbert had some horrible plays and carter misplayed some passes that should have been picked, the LBs at first were meh then picked it up as the game went on pinckney was all over the field and shaq destroyed people overall i like what i see

Yeah we were not perfect, but it is expected. New system, new players going to be some miscommunication and breakdowns. The important thing is that they are at a minimum and we show a lot of effort and fight. That is why you start off against a sub-par team to get real game time experience and learn before the big games

Watching from out of town via espn3, I could tell there was something different with the crowd. Felt unlike anything we've been accustomed to in the recent past. Place looked like it was rocking!

Now we really might be back.

Black cleats... I think that was where and when the train came off the tracks. Glad we came to our senses.

Tonight was one of the best nights I have had in the last decade of going to Canes games.

Perfect start to the Mark Richt era with this dominating win. If Golden was coaching this game we don't even score 50 points.

Perfect sparring session before getting into the real fights in October and conference play...

+ Ryan Mayes knocked that dude's mouthpiece out the back of his head on the punt return TD.

I'm very pleased to see him go for it on 4th down which is good for the team to practice it now and feel confident that they can convert it easily which can come in handy later on in the season when they play much better competition and may have 4th down situations.
