Heard a lot about Harley and Thomas playing right away. It's just more complicated than that.

It's not that anyone was really concerned about losing him, but every guy we have signed on the 20th is another guy added to the marketing pamphlet that goes around to all of the remaining unsigned guys waiting for February to say "there, you see this guy, you know how many people we got lined up that want to play alongside and be teammates with this guy?" The fewer spots we have left to fill for February, the better our leverage and the pickier we get to be, and the more time and resources the coaches have to spread among fewer players to cherry pick those last few spots. On top of that, the higher ranked our class will be and the more pub we'll get from e$ECpn during the bowl season and lead up to signing day. Nothing but good things...

There really wasn't any... He took a few visits to Gaynesville but Miami had the lead early on.

Once we brought Cooney on staff in January that sealed the deal. He's been All-Cane really since his Junior year.

He looked up to Stacy Coley big time & even when he went to the RAB game last year he was a heavy Canes lean.

**** even as far back as Paradise Camp last year in July 2016 when he dominated the whole camp he was a Cane lean.

Once the non EE sign on Wednesday, are the coaches allowed to have contact with the signees to give them game plans, workouts and other items to help them transition onto the team for summer/fall?

Indiana does a good job recruiting the southeast, and usually have a handful from Florida/Georgia/Louisiana/South Carolina.

He's more talented than both of them. Plus if he early enrolls, I'd like his chances.

To your point, we'll have next year AR as the returning star. Then we'll have Jeff Thomas, Harley and Dallas (assuming he goes back to WR) ready to emerge and take that next step. Add to that the young guys Hightower, Pope and Wiggins who will make a very strong case to see the field. That's already a rotation of 7.

Which leaves Cager, Harris and Langham. One or two of these 3 will be left with no chair once the music stops.

Game changer

Pope’s skillset is that of a sophomore. He is the most skilled WR wev’ve brough in in a long time. He knows how to do all the little things that WRs have to do to be successful.
