Jobe is a 5'11 178lb safety prospect. Not a physical freak, no game film. He's a tad overrated don't you think?

He’s closer to 6-1,190

His film from Columbus is great and was best DB at Nike Camp in the spring. You can be mad with how he’s handled his recruitment, but he is properly rated

We need to get many as we can to sign early. I’m sure fsu will try to get Samuel to sign early on his visit this weekend ,if he doesn’t I think he’s going to flip to us . Too add him and Campbell to this class will be insane . Does jobe even qualify to get into Miami ? That’s one of the reasons Bama is in the lead . They need to take that shalala name off every thing

What exactly does Shalala have to do with any of this?

You literally obsess over her, it's kind've creepy

This is why I don’t understand why our coaches decided to and continue using #26 to refer to him . How tf does he even compare to Sean Taylor ? Disrespecting a legend

You're saying he gained 1-2 inches and 12 pounds since the Nike opening? Jobe was measured at 5'11 and 178 there. I remember being a little disappointed, I though with all the hype about his size he'd be closer to 200.

Peter Ariz Is there any chance Miami moves on from purely from a character standpoint? We're not really at the point where we can afford to take too many "me first" guys and the rest of this class seems to be made up of high character kids.

Please advise.

Pete already discussed this.... doesn’t seem like they will

It makes sense when the rest of the class is filled with high character guys.

Age matters when you're evaluating a player in a specific context. A 20 year old dominating HS ball is less impressive than a 16 year old doing the same.

But age isn't necessarily an indicator of upside. Carson Wentz was an old rookie and he improved dramatically in year 2 (growth during the season even) while plenty of young QB prospects never pan out. The best indicators of upside are physical tools, potential areas for improvement and intangibles.

From what I can tell Jobe has great physical tools, lots of room to improve with technique and positional awareness, and subpar intangibles. He has high upside but a lower floor and his age doesn't really factor into that projection much. If he was old, small, slow and polished then you could say he has low upside.

He’s not 20 years old for the last time ****.....
Mark Pope, Mike Harley is/were both 19 in highschool, Demetrius Jackson(think he was 20 in highschool) yet y’all don’t say sh*t about their age. That sh*t weak as **** period

TheRichtShow You are obviously a new canes fan and have no idea about canes history and the human toilet that is shalala. Bless your heart.

Some of y’all sound like some fans y’all accuse Bama fans of being if they don’t come to their school by saying jobe is dumb or 20years old. You wouldn’t be saying none of that if he was locked in. The kid has a learning disability stfu about his age already.... Can’t stand hypocrites Man i swear...

Did any of them age out of highschool sports and have to transfer to a prep school and then still have possible issues qualifying?? No, so STFU!

Broke, shut up. Nobody gives a **** what you are saying, or how many times you are saying it. You are just looking more and more the like the whiny little white knighting **** that you prove your self to be over and over again, then go on and deny it later.

Shut yo following a55 up, go hop on another posters post and d*ckride whatever they are saying

Simple Jobe got everyone bamboozled. A 5’11 and 178 pound Safety without any great highlight package. Where’s all the football plays this small 23 year old cuck has made?

Gurv has an hour of oooo’s and ahhhhh’s on film. Where’s Simple Jobe’s?

How else is he going to get that post count up. He basically says the exact same thing in almost every post. He posted about Reuben Foster close to 40 times I think earlier this week in a thread about Jobe.
