So even with Delaney listed as probable he's not likely to play this weekend? Did I hear that right per the podcast?

Would really prefer the starting secondary got to play together as a unit before VaTech and ND..

What a mistake not to bringing a another QB. So much for staking chips.

We are banking on Perry it looks like. If he gets hurt in the future where is the depth?

Dafug? Rosier is a junior. We have perry and Weldon. We'll take a stud in 2019. This is called "Stacking chips". Or have you already dismissed Weldon as a jag like you probably did Rosier before this year? Lulz.

The same people ****ting on Sitz were prolly ****ting on Rosier before too... a coaches job is to develop talent.. if Richt believes he can turn Sitz into something special who tf are u clowns to say otherwise.. he makes mils to call those shots.. if Sitz never transferred to IMG his numbers would prolly be inflated at his old school and y'all would be riding nutz.. let the professionals do their job!

Have you seen his numbers at his old school?

Maybe the worst stats I have ever seen for a "highly rated" division 1 quarterback prospect. There should be no qualms with people questioning that take. It is a huge gamble for someone with absolutely nothing to show but some impressive looking clips in shorts and a t shirt, especially if he is the only one in the class.

Before people start talking about how dumb folks are, and how professional someone is, remember that richt got fired from his last job, probably in large part due to his QB recruiting based on the quality of the team he left behind.

Sit is not going to decommit. This has a Jake Allen situation written all over. Preforms bad but still gets to stay on.

how fast before he converts to TE?( and Im only half-joking)

I tend to error in the side that IT WONT HURT TO BRING IN ANOTHER GUY. **** so many of you guys are yes men. I love Richt as our head coach doesn’t mean I can’t have a differing opinion. We are bringing in a kid that can’t start on his high school team (admittedly a good team). How many national title contending teams have QBs that didn’t start on their highschool team? I will hang up and listen.

Sits will be a player for us year 3 or 4, mark my words.

Easily the sharpest dude we've had on a podcast from an opposing program

Sitkowski's numbers were crap at his old school as well. The fact that he can't perform well at all when he has nothing but division 1 players around him is concerning. And the concerns about Rosier were warranted considering he at one point was going to be a baseball guy. That and he didn't even bother to even study game tape during the Golden era.

Having said that, I'm glad Rosier has proven a lot of people wrong and hopes to do so.

But you can go ahead and get off your high horse now.

My high horse? Im not sure where you're tryna take this discussion.. my comparison to Rosier is because he was never even expected to play at THE U and nobody can say he was after years sitting behind Brad and look at him now.. under the tutelage of Richt look how he is performing.. Sitz is a way better prospect physically than Rosier and if Richt believes he can mold that talent into a star imma believe in him!

Rosier is more of an outlier than the norm. Richt's a good QB coach, but there's been some busts that Richt has taken on that hasn't worked out. Sitkowski makes poor decisions on the field when pressured and that's a mental thing - something you either have or you don't, and sometimes can't be taught. Similar to how you can't teach a d-linemen to have a high motor. Some guys have it, some don't.

Except Sitkowski's numbers were atrocious at his old school and they're atrocious again this year at IMG. Getting benched when surrounded by the level of talent present across the board at IMG is a remarkable accomplishment for all the wrong reasons, especially when the player replacing him as IMG's QB is committed to Minnesota as a preferred walk-on.

He's been utterly horrible in games and there's no way to sugar coat that. You're not stacking chips at the most important position in the game when someone who's performed as atrociously as Sitkowski is the lone take in a class.

I cant wait to look like a backup QB with the caneswear yellow hat.

Important to note IMG's new starting QB is a preferred walk-on commit to Minnesota. Sitkowski wasn't replaced by a top-flight or even average QB prospect.

IMG's offense is absurdly loaded with Sanders/Pledger/Cain at RB, several top wideouts on the outside, and an entire OL comprised of 300+ pound four-star recruits heading to big-time programs. They face overmatched opposition talent-wise each and every week. And despite having all the built-in advantages a QB cover ever ask for, Sitkowski played terribly and lost his job.

Have faith in the Pastor, he may know what he is doing, just maybe.

Barring injury, Perry won’t play until the season after next, and he’ll play for twi? so Sitz has 3-4 years of riding the pine to develop.

I'm pretty sure the era of anointed QBs is over.

Rosier has done a great job this year, but he has limitations (height, consistent accuracy, and ability to throw on the move). I wouldn't be surprised if another QB overtakes Rosier next year and I certainly wouldn't be surprised if Weldon ends up being QB1 when he is a junior. Have you guys already forgotten about N'Kosi?

A second QB recruit in addition to Sitkowski fits the mantra: Stack chips, development, competition, meritocracy.
