PODCAST: Defense Deep Dive with LuCane

Great stuff. It's not just our DEs. Willis up the middle will wreck plays. The pump is primed on defense, it's the 2004 team with more depth. My only concern is up-tempo teams getting in a rhythm and gassing or DBs. We're deeper than last season, but still way too thin there. So bummed Young can't come back from injury! Freshmen will be playing a lot.

Whatever happened to BurtReynoldsIsBald? Does he post here?

This. This site would improve significantly if these guys posted a tad more.

Lu doesn’t post much anymore bc of the “experts” here who always start crap without providing an actual basis of an argument.

The key will be how his body holds up. If he can withstand the physical toll, his talent is supreme.

You say how well his body holds up, yet do you think he’s getting in for enough plays for that to even be a worry?

I’ll believe that when I see it, because I see him getting in a few plays in games, but he’s definitely not going to be an every down player as a raw freshman. Not even close.

He’s super talented and I believe the hype, but it’s still going to be a big leap for him and I have yet to see him in an actual game,

In my humble opinion, of course.
