Great podcast. Love the energy & the way you repeatably trash the Gators with facts. You were spot on.

"Richt had assistants that weren't even qualified to fly coach".

Oh my!

The Money man thought we were poised for big things last year? Yeesh

Exactly , dummies who think Miami doesn’t have any talent on O because of how richt made them look. No one squander more talent in the country than richt did offensively last year and its not even close
Our own dopey fans are doing the same **** assuming our offense is going to suck because it sucked last year. Whenever I point out how quickly our defense turned around they got nothing. Some people just prefer misery and low expectations.

But it’s not just the “national dummies”. We have posters (and mod/staff/contributors) on this site coming to the same conclusion as the national media. How can they not see the difference?
That’s because there’s a lot of dumb fcks on here too.

Great stuff. I'm so ready for this game!

Think about this for a moment -- Manny was handed one of the worst defenses in the country (#77 ranking in 2015), and told its two best returning players were suspended for the season (AQM and Grace), and the next two best linebackers has season-ending injuries. He turned it into the #12 defense in the country in 2016 with 3 true freshmen stating at linebacker, a washed-out transfer from TX starting at CB (Colbert), and a kid who going into the season everyone thought was a JAG starting at safety (Jenkins). BTW, Robert Knowles was our backup safety that year, too.

Why would we think Enos + Manny couldn't do the same with the offense? Enos arguably has much more talent and leadership to work with, and he's only got one true freshman starting as opposed to 3. We were Ranked 104th in offense in 2018. What would our W-L record look like if we jumped 65 spots like we did year-to-year in defense and were the #39 offense with a Top 10 defense? Florida was #42 in offense, #24 in defense. As D$ noted, they're weaker this year. So can the #39 offense, #4 defense beat a team that will be in the 40s-50s on both sides of the ball this year? The math says not only that we can win, but that we should win.

Florida reminds me of an Al Golden team. Pro level talent at a few spots on both sides of the ball, decent P5 talent at most of the rest of the spots, but 2-3 glaring holes and no depth. The 2019 Miami Hurricanes are definitely more talented as a team on both sides of the ball than the 2019 Florida Gators.
