Keep in mind the same thing was done for the Gadsden kid who just got dropped.
Aside from the time of year the commitment was taken.
With the era of the transfer portal..you can absolutely afford to take a flyer on a few developmental kids because we have definitely learned from this past offseason that kids who know they cant cut it will process themselves out the door anyway even after year 1.... (Jayden Wayne, Kaleb Spencer, Pulliam, etc). The days of sticking around hoping the light comes on after year 3 or 4 are over. So dont get so hung up on this stuff.
I laugh when anyone questions Mario and Alex on O lineman. Especially when 3 of the so called “ 3 star “ o lineman we recruited look like studs. Cooper will get drafted. McCoy played well in a swing role. And Kinsler looks like a monster in the making. There’s alot we can worry about with Mario as coach. His selection of O lineman isn’t one of them.
His name sounds like an over the counter medicine that helps fight sinus congestion & mucus build up.
