If he is better then our last WR (langham), he is a take. He will be depth if nothing else. He looks like he could help us stretch the field and take some screens, end arounds, jets swipes....get him in space

We don't have the luxury to act like that. If we miss out on receiver targets we better take him...

This. No downside to bringing him in.

Downside is you load the roster with JAGS and have less room for better players.

The only reason we're considering bringing him in is because we missed out on the "better players".

Signing day isn't tomorrow. We're still in it for a lot of guys better than Holmes.

Then why the **** did you go there?

Dumbass got what you asked for.

He left cuz the staff that was here was a fkin disaster and ya can't blame a kid for that

1 question , which was worse -Holmes going to N.D or Miami hiring that last garbage that was here ? I rest my case .

And if he wouldn't have gone to N.D he would have gone somewhere else -

I have no problem that the kid picked Notre Dame and told Golden to F off. I never followed his recruitment, so I'm assuming he didn't troll Miami.

Regardless, the issue I have with him is a significant lack of productivity. If we strike out with our targets and he comes on board, I hope he proves me wrong.

Does he have any return skills? Looks like we are in the drivers seat for him, if we want him. We will probably slow roll him because we can and see what hits in the next 3 weeks. I think we offer, but we offer late.

Comments are stupid and shortsighted. We'he taken transfers who initially spurned us. Cleveland Gary comes to mind. Did we want Andre King when he came out of HS? Probably others.

Unless we get Smith, Njoku, Thomas, and Pouncey we will need a grad transfer. Think our WR "class" will very likely be Njoku, Thomas, Pouncey, and Holmes.

Sorry to be critical. But what about actually asking him about when he is making a decision, who the leaders are and where the canes stand?

Perhaps we should look at Corey as the "prodigal son."

So at this point our board is like:

Plan A: Smith, Thomas
Plan B: Pouncey, Harley
Plan C: Holmes, Truitt, Other grad transfer

?

Diss the home team, and now u tryna crawl back. FOH.

My thoughts exactly!

When did he diss the home team? I don't remember him pulling a Hollomen or a Bryd. He was up front; he just didn't show any interest (which was understandable given the toxic environment under Golden).

Do you think UCLA was going to turn away Troy Aikman when he transferred from Oklahoma because he didn't show interest out of high school (or Cleveland Gary when he came back to Miami). As long as they didn't burn any bridges it's a question of can they help us.

I think some are taking this too personal.

I see your point.
