Oh baloney, we're also setting the stage for 2017 and beyond. We need an extra corner to offset Burns and Howard. Other than that we upgraded athletically at every position.

Finley plays safety and his hair plays corner. Favorite recruit.

Finley isn't getting enough pub. That kid looks like he can flat out play. We are in solid shape talent wise everywhere on defense except obviously CB.

The upside on that kid is high considering he's played one year of football. He performed at an extremely high level this year.

100%. We are gonna look back and say what a steal in 2yrs when he is lighting WR's, TE's and RB's up. I think the excitement he generates during games will be something we have missed for some time. Can't wait.

we could have brought in the al golden specials too. this staff only went for 3-5 stars. they have a chip on their shoulder. i like it.

 

This is a no excuse business. The butthurt with that post is over losing to FSU consistently for the last 6 years. Let me repeat - 6 in a row. I don't give a **** who coaches as long as we win. Butch was the last coach that was worth anything at this U.

So far we are seeing the same Golden slurpers change over to Richt slurping before the man has done anything. Crown the man once he starts earning his HIGH salary. Recruiting for this cycle was his first test and I am not overly happy with his results. I am glad with who we have, but who are his BIG pickups that were not apart of Golden's class at one time (excluding legacy players)?

Its obvious to me what CMR is doing with this class. He went after every kid who could come in and help the offense right away. He didn't get all but he got enough.

We will have an offense, run by CMR that will put up all sorts of points on our weakass schedule this fall. That will give CMR the PR ammo he needs to land a truly elite class in 2017. Remember, having a competent OC was half the battle. Today CMR completed the other half.

According to his interview he was playing his junior year but broke his collarbone in his first game. First year of football. Had some really discipline issues. Sounds like he's straightened up his sophomore.

Yeah, I think you hit on something here. I look at Mullens and Richards and I compare them with Antonio Callaway and both these kids can make an impact like him. Bruce helps us immediately with the return game and at slot. He's college ready at least size-wise.

Everybody is sleeping on Coley. And by that I mean the kid can have a first team all conference season.

our DE, WR, LB, and Safety recruiting is pretty elite.

 

Maybe new coaching can help Mayes get over the hump. That will help the CB situation.
