Give me a break man, it was #6 on rivals. One off so basically a top 5.
Dude, what do y'all not understand about the specifics of NOT top 5?! IT WASN'T. Rivals, which isn't the best evaluators, are the highest ranking at 6; every other service had us lower. The reason is because like every corch since Butch, we get a honeymoon top 10 class without the elites because they aren't closers. We end up falling flat on faces because one Lo or one Pope (who was not a consensus 5*) will not take us where we need to be. Again, I'm not knocking the great talent in it but it was not top 5 and not elite. Sorry, not so much directly at you, just frustrating with this same cycle for 17 years!

I know JH is supposed to

Last word on Haselwood through the UGA publications is he is NOT signing anything early but will announce at All American game and then sign financial aid paperwork and enroll immediately to the school.

I don't think Tyrique has said what he is specifically doing other than announcing at game. He is an EE though.

Bogle not signing until February I believe, even though he is announcing in January. Not sure about this, though.

We signed a top 5 class last year. Stop crying about lastbyear and the few Miami missed on. This year is up for debate and can be discussed further when the dust settles.
Top 5 according to who? Because there’s not a single recruiting service that ranked us top 5, but ok. Not crying about last year, just bringing up the fact that a ton of top recruits were on campus for their final visits and the staff basically struck out on all of them, not to mention it happened somewhat the year before with CJ Henderson and Brian Edwards, turds that they are. Just hope it doesn’t happen again, so yea we’ll see.

This class will not end well. Scrambling, rushing, begging recruits to make visits. Too much, “Canes just recently started recruiting ( x player) recently and have ground to make up” comments from the recruiting gurus.

Until the University of Miami puts an emphasis, high priority on Athletics, it will be an average program-all three major sports.

Miami will never ever be the type of program that finishes with top 5 classes year end and year out. Miami doesn’t have the perk$ that these other schools like Bama, Clemson, Georgia, OSU etc have. Miami should be able to win with constant top 10 classes. No excuses.

Has it ever been revealed what Solomon’s sudden prob was? Just the losing streak? I mean him and his mom were pretty active recruiting for UM at one point no?

And Michigan got the brakes beat off em in Columbus

“something that suffered when Miami dropped contact for all of summer and part of the fall.”

Our staff continues to put itself in a bad situation losing contact with these kids and putting all their eggs in one basket. Meanwhile, Florida and UGA manage to recruit these kids. I just don’t understand this strategy.
You wanted Miami to spend massive effort on a kid whose brother went to UF and all onfpdicarions have always been he would also?

Why not? You’re putting the effort now. If you’re going to recruit kids don’t half *** it.

Besides, there are many more kids who wanted to hear from Miami sooner but didn’t until it was too late. Not they say **** Miami. Again, putting all our eggs in one basket strategy is idiotic.

We can attempt to find the silver lining and fantasy book signing day to the best possible outcome all we want.

But in your heart of hearts, you know how this is ending.

Find comfort in your loved ones during this darkest timeline.

We've lost the recipes...and now we're going to lose.
