MAR has a brother who UM saved from being crippled ans still isn't coming that's because we never had a chance. Hopefully we get Williams, Braun, Boykin/Bogle and most of all Washington with Em, JHH, Hill and Phillips who I expect

The whole MAR situation seems so odd to me. His brother is our biggest advocate but MAR doesn’t even seem remotely interested. Just odd. I would love for him to come here and ball in honor of his brother

Could be he wants to blaze his own path and not constantly be compared to his bro, maybe he has a bad "juju" feeling about UM with the way his bro's career ended, maybe he just wants out of So. Fla., I swear we should start giving kids exit surveys to see why they didn't pick us solely to satisfy CIS posters lol

I'm not mad about MAR. Like some have been saying for months on here, he's not coming.

Wants to make his own name and play rb. Hed be 4th on the depth chart maybe if he came. Cant really fault the new staff
I wouldn't automatically place him 4th on the depth chart....the only solidified returning back is DeeJay...I happen to think he is the type of player who could excell at multiple positions....it's in his blood...you can see his desire to be great...one thing I noticed he has good vision and doesn't go down easily....could be a surprise...nobody thought DeeJay would step up at RB the way he did...I'll be ****ed if he ends up killing it at UF....

if we did get Hunte...

Then for the first time i. a while we will be adding quality DT depth. That is at least 2 guys that have high impact potential in 2 years in Hunte and Blissett with Holley being a serviceble backup. We continue to add next year more DtS of this caliber and Miami takes the next step!

I think richt them recruiting him at DB at first turned him off. You had auburn and other schools recruiting at rb the whole time. I think he ends up at auburn. Auburn was ahmmon 2nd choice when he came out.

MAR has had Miami crossed off his list for half a year, I’d wager. One good visit is not going to change that, nor is it indicative of this staff.
Right and I don't think we are hurting at Rb either if he's still set on that position

Not getting Richards is a pretty big fail, no matter how you slice it. Sure, you can't force kids to go somewhere. Of course. But to have Ahmmon here and to let this kid get away, it speaks a lot to how much of a failure the previous regime was both on the field in the last 16 games and on the trail for the majority of his recruitment. The kid is just a good football player, period. He has to be here. He will excel at Auburn or, please god no, UF.

Couldn't disagree more. Who gives a **** where he goes. RBs grow on trees down here, we have a stable of higher rated backs, and the next two years are absolutely loaded. He made it clear early on he didn't want to be at UM and wants to make his own legacy. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Fredo.

You can’t lose a kid or “let someone get away” that you never had and doesn’t want to be here. Miami fans assume every legacy kid wants to coMe to Miami. That simply isn’t true even for legacy kids who don’t play a sport. MAR has given the new staff and the old staff the same courtesy he did every other schhol recruiting him. IMO he decided long ago he wants to do his own thing. He hasn’t led anyone on , unlike soMe of the other recruits we tried to sign.
