Jai Lucas and his coaching team are heading to Westminster Academy to check out four-star 2026 recruit Alex Constanza, CanesInSight has learned.

Alex is the kind of kid you'd want to keep close since his high school is only five miles from campus. He probably grew up going to Miami games, so it's really important to keep him around. Lucas is planning to check out his high school today.

Constanza had to sit out the first seven games of the 2024-25 season at Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, because of a wrist injury that needed surgery. Despite this setback, he was having an impressive season, with averages of 29.8 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and 1.8 blocks per game.

Various recruiting ranking sites have rated Alex as a four-star prospect. 247Sports lists him as the 15th best player in his class, the 5th best small forward, and the 4th best player in Florida.

Teams like Texas, Florida State, Illinois, Syracuse, Mississippi State, and Oregon, along with many other top schools, are also
highly considering-after four-star recruit.
